BigHeart711 and I finished 19 out of 28 winter anime 2015 trailers. I thought we had more than 28. I have to double check different sources. Sometimes, one source overcounts shows that falls out or gets postponed.

@Sonata:

I tried using it. I think I just erasing more skin. It has been a long time since I used GIMP. I stopped using GIMP when Paint.Net was easier to make transparent PNG and banners. The profile portrait guide revolves around Paint.Net.

@taichokage:

Because the RPG's commenting is different from battle comments, so his forum count and activity was slow down. It looks like he was a ghost. He was making huge comments because in the RPG forum, you build stories using a character(s).

@MarioRedfield:

I agree.

It's going to be hard getting software that actually does fade out. For now, I stick with the censor bars. I don't have Photoshop just GIMP and Paint.Net.

@taichokage:

I had concerns it was bit too early since it had passed his Anime Vice's 1st Year anniversary. He will gain some years. Hopefully, it will satisfy most users who were candidates for mods.

He did a lot of work:

  • Vapovile's AV Battle Usage Project - I wish our data was put to good use. Oh well, we have our achievements and things that didn't go right.
  • Helping WayBig and IndridCold become good RPG folks
  • Pushing policies in the RPG forum. I don't know much about the policies yet since I haven't kept tabs on the community for a while.

@MarioRedfield:

Yes, we want the wiki pages especially Hentai to stay classy and look good aesthetically.

@Dekken:

I prefer white fade out since black stands out. I recall Daniel told me my red circles for manga scans really stood out. White blends in more. The only issue is that most users don't have Photo Shop. I tried checking GIMP after Paint. Net doesn't have it.

This is more of a software issue. It's not everyone can afford it. Paint. Net and Gimp are free but not photoshop. I could be wrong.

It was today and out of the blue. Interestingly, none of the mods were informed. It was a big surprise for everyone except the RPG community who sent out a great letter of Rec to Tom.

I'm sorry for the late reply. There was a big issue today.

@Dream: @Bigheart711:

Agree with the pixelation. I tried whiting out with the brush. There isn't an option in fade out for Paint.Net.

Good idea, I can check for table breaks, glitches in text, and missing parts. Oh, I need to make a banner. PM me what was the #1-3 AMV so I can use that theme as a banner. I have to stealthily upload that image in decoy screenshots so no one would search my image gallery. No one will get spoil. Got to keep it a surprise.

Editing & Tools » Censoring Hentai Images: Pixelation, Censor Bar, Fade Out (NSFW)

Hello everyone, I'm Taka. I have been talking with my fellow wiki editors of the Hentai wiki project. We had a lengthy discussion on how to censor images.

  • Daniel supported pixelation.
  • Sonata and AgentFakku supported Censor Bars. I currently used this method.
  • Dekken is supporting Fade Out.

I have experimented with every option for Fade Out. I currently don't know how to do that in Paint.Net. I used Dekken's example. Let's go over the pros and cons.

Pixelation

One can argue it looks cleaner and less botchy than censorship bars. Others argued it looks ugly and naked. From afar, it doesn't look censor enough as a safe image to use as default image. It looks naked in summary to me.

Censorship Bar

These are big. Design to cover areola, labia, testicles, and anything worth covering up. In Japan, they censor vaginas and penis but not nipples. We still cover every part with the censor bar. The cons of these they stick out like a sore thumb. From afar, it's ugly, too.

Fade Out

From afar, it's look like a shiny blurred thing you see in ecchi anime. Less than shining gleams of light. It looks pretty good. Not too ugly. Areola, penis, labia, etc are whited out.

Cons: It's hard to do this if you don't have the right program. I opened a thread on how to do this in Paint.Net after exhausting Google Search and tutorials. It seems Photoshop users are the only ones who can do it.

@waybig1010101 said:

@takashichea: Fair enough I'll change the focus to just anime survey, so we can get more people interacting from different sections in the discussion threads ( Will try to promote this more in the RPG people) . Also I'm going to try to start a new AMV Tournament for October, I drop the ball this month, which I hate myself a bit for doing. I'll probably also reveal the winners of last month in the New Tournament Thread post.

Don't do that with the AMV Tournament winners. They deserve to be on the front page. They went out of their time to post their AMVS and wanted to have fun. Even if we had a low voter turnout, we have to be consistent. I remember my Top Reviewers of 2013 only had one vote. Taichokage. bless his heart for his support. I decided to promote everyone in the same place with the same manner.

Tom asks me to keep an eye on your project since he loves your project. He felt you were a bit inconsistent on your delivery and he asks me to help you to get it on the front page. Having both caption and AMV tournament boosted activity on the front page and brought some fun back. We need as much fun stuff for foot traffic.

Just let me know if I can help you. I know you busy. I'm busy, too. We have to see this through.

Just Anime » Anime Survey and Reviews (Summer 2014)

@waybig1010101:

I'm so sorry for the late response. I haven't got any response from you lately. I have a lot of issues to go over with my teammates. I make this short and sweet.

I unpin your thread. We are going into the Fall 2014 Anime Season.

Successes

WayBig - You are very ideal for starting projects like these because you have background in RPG and Battles. You can ask folks who easily agree to help you out in projects. That's appeal of your character. You have such a charismatic and magnetic personality. You have garnered so much attention than the polls Acura and myself had opened (Which anime are you most looking forward to this Winter 2014 Season?). Because of you, I got a good glimpse of what battle and RPG users are watching this summer. It gives me a lot of data and predictions for sickVisionz's Top Anime of 2014.

Discussion Threads had an increase of attention and I saw more users from the battle section but not the RPG section except for Vapovile.

Cons

Your project was confusing and too complex. It had 2 parts and 2 goals. I ask around, random users about what they thought about your project. At first, I thought it was just me who was confused. There were others. They were wondering is he asking for reviews or shows I watch? Few of the questions like that.

Also, I did said to you were taking too many projects on your plate. Leaving this one behind. I know the The Hall of Fame project takes an enormous amount of time to how many rounds and many PRing you had to do. Same for AMV Contest.

Bottom Line:

If you want to continue this project for Fall 2014, I think you should rethink your approach and asks experts for help regarding what target you want to pick.

  • If it's discussions, you want to watch more shows and talk with users who are on the discussions while inviting more folks
  • If it's for reviews, I know you are new. You want to talk to Dream or Katmic who are avid reviewers. Their views and experiences are valuable. They have different ideas on how to boost reviews in the site.

Off-Topic » Does Anyone Know How To Fade Out Images in Paint.Net?

Hello everyone, I'm Taka. I have been talking with my fellow wiki editors of the Hentai wiki project. We had a lengthy discussion on how to censor images.

  • Daniel supported pixelation.
  • Sonata and AgentFakku supported Censor Bars
  • Dekken is supporting Fade Out.

I currently experimenting with each option. Before I open another thread called Censoring Images in the Editing & Tools thread, I want to see if I do fade out. I can do other two fine in Paint.Net. That future thread I will go over cons and pros of each method.

Note:

As Dekken and I found out, you have to have one set of censoring method per image. Don't use more than one. AF was inconsistent in his image (look at the right side image).

We will go over what censoring method is the best. Consistency is a must have in our wiki pages.

Thank you for your time.

@DocHaus:

Finished the anime series. Didn't expect that ending. Gen Urobuchi is a damn good story teller. Shame Gargantia went slice of life mode.

I do watch Argevollen along with Marshal. I don't recall there was a person with PTSD in Argevollen.

Watched that vid. Don't know what's going on. That was pretty weird.

#Anime Vice Discussion Threads » Hamatora Discussion

@Marshal Victory:

Hamatora's seizure colors were gone in season 2. I'm glad it was gone. I don't know what else to bag on Hamatora besides the extreme mood swings in tense situations. It's like the same thing in Akame ga Kill and Brynhildr in the Darkness. Super Hero - we could use that for Tokyo ESP's recommendation. That whole series pushes hero, racism which is the main core elements of X-Men. Then again, I don't read X-Men comics. I only know the TV adaption.
