Besides the ads in the HULU subscription which ruins the full enjoyment in marathons, I have a lot of issues with this simulcast site just like Crunchyroll. There is no perfect Simulcast site which I mainly use 2 sites all paid subscription, HULU and Crunchyroll.
It's unprofessional for a mod to do this. I'm going to blow some steam off since the stress is killing me. Every season, I work on the simulcast articles. HULU has been a disservice. I have been patient, asking them on Twitter if they have blogs or something on Facebook for an anime simulcast list. I don't get much response or any. Their HULU Support Twitter is excellent with trouble shooting glitches, but their other Twitter entity doesn't do well for anime folks. Every time, I do a simulcast list for HULU. I have to assume each season, they are taking shows from Aniplex of America and FUNimation but with a week delay after those two do their simulcasts.
Sometimes, HULU will take shows from Crunchyroll after a season.
I asked other users for help with this company. I can't remember what Daniel, sickVisionz, and Marshal Victory told me in our last HULU PM. I believe Daniel told me to exclude HULU from simulcast articles if they don't provide concrete information. sickVisionz stated HULU is a good streaming site but with bad user features. I actually went to the HULU booth at Anime Expo 2014 for a simulcast list. I couldn't get answers since they were busy at the time, doing their surveys. To me, if you are going to cater to anime fans, you need to put up better PR and update fans with a new feature on your App:
- HULU's Recently Added Anime or Recently Added Shows You Follow
The latter choice would be better for anime and non anime fans.
Another reason HULU makes me frustrated is their anime profile pages don't have dates for their simulcasts. I have to check every day to see if what day they stream on. They don't tell you if they have delays in simulcasts. For Soul Eater Not, Episode 12 came out really late.
