I hope you two are done. There is no need for this type of talk. Just walk away.
After reading the first 9 chapters, I find the manga series enjoyable but not as awesome or outstanding as Toriko, Magi, and Fairy Tail. I have been reading Shonen series. Toriko and One Piece were my newest Shonen shows to watch last year.
If I had to scale the Shonen series I'm currently reading, it will be like this:
One Piece > Magi > Fairy Tail > Toriko > Seven Deadly Sins.
Seven Deadly Sins hasn't wow or reeled me in from the beginning like Toriko and Magi did.
Well, this episode brought in a lot of new characters. Each of them fill a specific role in the harem archetype. They even brought a robot. The yandere flag made my day.
It was an outrageous episode with a slow part. Shows you can't take this show seriously and Sora's comments are very crude. One thing I wish was that the siblings balance each other during the game even though their strengths complement. Shiro had to be saved by Sora who did everything himself.
Yeah, it is. Nowadays, these anime adaptations of light novels and manga series are pretty short, 10 - 13. Not every series will get a good closure.
Hmm, I never thought of the teacher's curse was being a child forever.
I'm finished the Phantom Blood part, but I'll wait for Tom to catch up. Erina was in the dark with Dio and Jojo's fight. I haven't seen a lot of shows that kill the main character. I was surprised.
Thanks, I got them.
You have a better memory than me. I read those chapters fast. With Elfman's scenes, it was a definite serious tone. I agree that killing off major characters wasn't Hiro Mashima's style. I guess for me I was personally scaling Fairy Tail against other series.
One Piece nails the mood contrasts better. It's happy go lucky, and it has dark tones with the children's drug addiction and people dying during Punk Hazard, the massive casualties in Marineford, and slavery during Mermaid Island arc.
I was talking about major character death. The last time we had that was Simon and Future Lucy in a sense. Regarding the dark tone, it didn't really feel dark for the killing of the Magic Council or minor characters. Dark is when you up the brutality or make the series feel so hopeless and despair like D. Gray-man. His tone with Fairy Tail is pretty inconsistent compared to Rave Master.
Who will be the next big thing on the vice?
Anyway for this thread I dont think Gremmy wins any.
Check the April 2014 Anime Vice Community Report. I got the battle themes that were dominant at that time. I forgot to put Kenpachi in for April.
I'm not up to speed with Bleach. I can't comment on this battle thread.
Well, we can't prohibit joke battle threads that go into politics. It's not in the rules. However, if there are so much of these, then we will take it in for consideration.
I'll have to be off-line soon. Things right now look pretty calm and orderly.
If you want uncensored violence and blood, read the manga. The anime ends in an anime exclusive ending. As Taichokage put it, it won't be able to start up the Billion Bird Arc. The anime needs a reboot.
For anime, it's not bad. If you read the manga first, you will notice the slight drop in the aesthetics and art style in the anime.
Check out the TORIKO Roundtable. WayBig did a good job analyzing the flaws, but watch out for spoilers.
Should I read or watch Love Hina?
It was a good episode, revealing more of Rentaro's past as well as good Loli battle. Sorry, I can't help but stress the loli part.
The evolution of the Gastrea and the whole evolution theme is pretty common. I can name a few examples:
However, the Gastrea's highest evolution seems more Armageddon than intelligent, humanoid beings.
