It's almost a year since I became a wiki mod. During my experiences of moderating wiki submissions and images, I see a need to improve the image queue that we wiki mods use. I see many new users mislabeling and creating image galleries or misplacing images. It would be great to allow wiki mods to move images during the moderation process. I spent a great amount of time moving images outside of moderation. After I approve an image, I go out to move the image for the user, and then, I instruct the user with advice to be organized. Keep the galleries tidy and neat.
I know we don't have a strong engineer presence after the Whiskey Media Sale Off. I'm doing my part to report any suggestions or improvements to better our wiki community.
An improved image queue will allow wiki mods to type and fix wrong gallery names instead of unchecking the box and then, recreate the gallery. Also, a search engine installed will help wiki mods transfer images without going outside moderation. At some points, there are times where I have to add the image to my user gallery because you cannot search individual volume or episode galleries in the search engine itself.
Thank you for your time everyone.
