Battles » Rosario Vampire Harem vs Natsu's Harem (Joke)

I haven't finished reading Rosario to Vampire II where everyone in Ayumu's team got a serious upgrade. I remember stopping at Yukari and that Chinese guy's fight with Fairy Tale. I forgot about Ruby because she has brutal moves on her. All I remember was her Iron Maiden move. I think I underestimated Ruby. Not sure about Mizore or Kokoa.

If I argue for Rosario Vampire, the best strategy would be Moka engages Erza.

  • Ruby will be a shield against most of Natsu's harem attacks.
  • Yukari provides distraction - she probably be a good match up against Wendy
  • Mizori provides back up attacks - good match up against Lisanna
  • Kurumu - crap, I have no idea what she does.

Battles » Rosario Vampire Harem vs Natsu's Harem (Joke)

This is what happens when one of the wiki editors especially the hentai ones gets let loose in the battle forums. I'm surprised this conversation hasn't turned into a hentai fest. It's pretty PG-13.

By going everyone's comments, it's a good thing it's a joke thread because most folks are siding with Fairy Tail. Feels like a mismatched thread since Erza is a main powerhouse backed up by a healer, a Celestial Mage, and a mage who can turn into animals. Moka is pretty much the only threat on Ayumu's team.

#Anime Vice Discussion Threads » Hitsugi no Chaika Discussion

@hitsusatsu11:

I was about to post the ANN article, but you announced it first:

The official website for the Chaika the Coffin Princess television anime confirmed on Thursday that the second season will premiere in October. Original light novel author Ichiro Sasaki indicated that the anime was planned to run two cours (quarters of the year), split into different seasons.

The website also announced that there will be an advance screening for the final episode of the current season on June 20. The joint advance screening/premium event will be held at the Kadokawa Cinema Shinjuku's Cinema 1 theater in Tokyo. In addition to screening the 12th anime episode, the cast of the anime will record a special radio episode.

The fantasy story centers around Toru Acura, a 20-year-old retired soldier meandering through life now that the war has ended. He encounters Chaika Trabant, a 14-year-old sorceress carrying a coffin and follows her in hopes of finding meaning to his life again. The two travel with Toru's adopted sister, Akari, the employed member of the group and thus Toru's source of income.

Agreed it was a better episode than the ones about orphans and Malna and her village. Not much plot progression, but it was nice to learn more about Jin.

Yes, in a sense, but it was a good battle. I only fought her once. I went to the attractions to clear the other Brains.

I did reach her once, but her Entei crushed my team. I had my Milotic, but he was injured from killing Alakazam. I usually tackled with my own Alakazam, but somehow, her Pokemon had more defense.

@BloodSprinkles:

Yeah, the shout out system sends automatic PMs. We just send two PMs.

I have only seen the animated series. Never got a chance to read the comic version. Being a new fan to comic books, I was surprised at how drama in Teen Titans for the comic books in addition to the changes in the character roster. How's the 2011 edition?

Oh no, it's open to everyone. We just called it a club to make it sound cool. Plus, we try to pool all comic book talks in that thread, so it pushes everyone together.

Hope you check out the thread. I haven't read much comic books.

@BloodSprinkles:

You know we have a Comic Book Club, but I let this one go until someone answers your question. We don't have a lot of comic book fans compared to our former sister site. I could ask and if they have answers.

Assassination Classroom was one of Anime Vice's Top 20 Manga Series of 2013, but it's still pretty obscure even more than Vinland Saga.

@Dream:

Wow, that's messed up. I see like a Jojo Bizarre Adventure similarity except Dio took Erina's first kiss while Griffith took Casca's virginity.

I thought it did well. Introduced a person of color as the main hero. I guess it's because of the setting, Chicago Mafia is full of demon families. I guess that didn't fit Supernatural's main themes.

raping his second-in-command, Casca.

For me, that's pretty brutal for a villain. I bet Casca was a love interest for someone. If she was the main protagonist's fiancee, that's just horrible.

@Acura_Max: @DBZ_universe: @Bigheart711: @Vapovile:

While studying for finals, my mind drifts off. I had a thought about the Ruby and Sapphire Remakes after recalling my Emerald happy days. They should bring back Battle Frontier. I remember in Emerald, I beat Pike Lucy, Brandon, and Factory guy (forgot his name) once. Freaking Brandon's pyramid was damn hard to complete for gold. I tried different strategies. Man, the endurance to survive each level was surreal. I never completed the Battle Frontier after hours of grinding and doing EV training. My poor Milotic Steven was great in Special Attack, but he was screwed in Defense. Once I transferred my beloved team to Platinum, I lost my drive to start over. Platinum's battle frontier wasn't that engaging or interesting. It was challenging but not as addicting like Emerald was.

Besides that, Pokemon Contests didn't do much for me.

B. ICHI had some interesting powers all with their individual consequences. It's a shame it was developed into a full manga series.

#Anime Vice Discussion Threads » Blood Lad Discussion

@waezi2:

Oh my bad. Not yet. Blood Lad is announced to be release this year in English Dub for DVD and Blu-Ray Release.

Viz Media's dubbed anime streaming service Neon Alley confirmed in response to a Twitter question on Thursday that the Blood Lad anime is currently being dubbed in English. Neon Alley also announced that the 10-episode television series' dub will stream for at least one month.

Viz Media announced its license of Blood Lad last July, when the series premiered. The distributor has been streaming English-subtitled episodes on its website and on Hulu. Viz Media's license includes home media, download-to-own, and streaming rights.

Neon Alley, which was previously available for PlayStation 3 and XBox 360 with a monthly subscription fee, transitioned to a free, ad-supported service affiliated with Hulu and Hulu Plus on April 1. The service transitioned from a linear live stream schedule to video-on-demand, and will add subtitled anime from Viz's catalog, including simulcasts. The service is available on all devices that support Hulu Plus. The service also became available online for PCs and Macs last July.

The Blood Lad dark comedy anime adapts Yūki Kodama's manga that follows a vampire named Staz who has his figurative heart stolen by Fuyumi, a human high school girl who suddenly appears in his world. Unfortunately, she is just as suddenly killed, and thus she becomes a ghost. Staz tries to bring Fuyumi back to life.

Joining Ryota Ohsaka (Valvrave the Liberator, The Devil is a Part-Timer!) in the cast is Iori Nomizu (Is This a Zombie?, Problem children are coming from another world, aren't they?) as Fuyumi Yanagi, Takuma Terashima (The IDOLM@STER, Kokoro Connect) as Wolf, Chiwa Saito (Rosario + Vampire Capu2, Bakemonogatari) as Mamejirō, Ryohei Kimura (Valvrave the Liberator, Neo Angelique) as Blood D. Bloods, Taichi Komesu as Deck, Yuuka Nanri (Wandering Son, Problem children are coming from another world, aren't they? ) as Blood T. Liz, Kazutomi Yamamoto (Majestic Prince, Makai Ōji: Devils and Realist) as Mimic Yoshida, and Koji Yusa (Zettai Karen Children, Valvrave the Liberator) as Papladon Achim.

Shigeyuki Miya (Lupin III: Green vs Red, Buzzer Beater) directed the anime at Brains Base from scripts by Takeshi Konuta (Library War, Toshokan Sensō: Kakumei no Tsubasa), and Kenji Fujisaki (chief animation director on Battle Girls - Time Paradox) created character designs. May'n (Macross Frontier) sings the anime's "ViViD" opening theme, while Yuuka Nanri (.hack//Roots) performs the ending theme "BLOODY HOLIC."

Viz Media plans to release the series on Blu-ray Disc and DVD this year.

Bug Reporting » Is it just me or is the site taking too long to load

@NectariaKiritsi:

Don't worry, Tom Pinchuk has sent out a PM to the engineers. There should be a fix soon. I know wiki editing is a hassle. For me, I stick to writing articles because I can just write in word and quickly and copy paste.

The current situation

  • Comments don't get posted properly. Needs Refreshing
  • In Wiki editing, buttons, date fields, and links are unresponsive for a few secs
  • Adding images across the site runs into Error 504 or Epic Fail

You can hang out around the site. There are plenty of things to do besides wiki editing.
