Episode 7

For some odd reason, we have a beach episode like most anime series, I think the beach is big thing whether it's fan service orientated or not.

The fan service is pretty tame unlike episode 1 and 2. I don't think it had any nudity which makes this episode the first one (if I'm right).

While the Akatsuki and the gang are having a blast in paradise, Lord Baram is sending Phil to capture Myuu. I like the character designs, and both male and female characters look nice. Every episode so far, Akatsuki has done some perverted deed. It'll be a miracle if there's one episode that Akatsuki acts like a saint.

Episode 7 is not bad.

• Soul Calibur 2 - No preference

My bad, I totally forgot. I go with Sleeping Hinako since I have never heard of it and how everyone else is so fond of its weird purpose.

I recommended these to another Anime Vice member.

Action Shonen Shows

• Blue Exorcist - It's about a brash young man who can't find a job and seem to get into trouble a lot. He lives with his father, a priest, and his twin brother, a very bright person. One day, he finds a startling truth about his origin that forever changed his life. He vows to to become the best exorcist to kick Satan's ass.
• Fairy Tail - If you love One Piece, this series is a bit cliche but it revolves around magic and guilds. It's about Natsu and his Fairy Tail guild's adventures where the fight bad guilds and face their pasts.
• Soul Eater - It's like Pokemon where you have a team of two: a meister and a weapon. Weapons are humans who can transform into weapons that a meister wields to fight witches and bad guys. The goal for the two is that the weapon must consume 99 souls and 1 witch' soul to become a death scythe. The anime ended abruptly, so you have to read the manga. Also, the goal is somewhat ignored when DWMA (a school for meisters and weapons) have to fight a war with old enemies of Shinigami.

Plot

Genre: Romance

Based on an eroge Visual Novel game:

Riki was a child when his parents died, leaving him hopeless and depressed. What saved him was a group of four kids calling themselves the Little Busters. They took Riki out and played with him during his time of need. He really enjoyed being together with them, and his grief gradually faded away. Now in his second year of high school they still hang out, fight and live together, and enjoy their school life.

Episode 7 was cool. I liked Rindou and her dad who had pink haired. Rindou is such a sucker for justice. Next episode would be awesome.

• 1st Question: Which do you prefer male or female protagonist and why? If the protagonist was originally a male or female but changed, would that make a difference? For example, in Fate Stay Night, Saber is originally a male character while Shiro is intended to be a woman, and they changed it.

It was hard to think of a good question. I got inspired by my sis for the first one.

• 2nd Question: Should an anime series based on a visual novel game follow its storyline or deviate?
• 3rd Question: Can anime can reach the realm of popularity in the U.S. like Japan?
