One day, a cop they know on the force requests their help in taking down a new gang muscling in on the territory of a top Mafia family. Welcome everyone, Yen Press has acquired the latest manga for this year. Here are the 3 manga series they have acquired.
This news is late, but as a mod, I should encourage folks to support the official release. I might not be able to cover every anime and manga publishers' latest acquisitions because I'm not good with licensing, given my limited knowledge in law and business. You have to deal with expired licenses as well.

He will be starting a spinoff series in Jump Next!! magazine in May 2014. The 27th volume will be release in June 2014. The manga has not been licensed by any western manga publishers as of now.
For those who are new to Beelzebub, here is a plot summary:

With his close friend Furuichi and a bunch of other characters on hand, Oga now must raise baby Beel and prevent the world from destruction.
Hello everyone, I'm Takashichea (Taka for short). Today, I'm going to share my views on the site and the folks. It's not criticism. It's more like my observations. Let me know if anything in this blog offends you. I'll fix it. The purpose of this blog is get users to think about the community projects for the site. These projects bridge the gap and help out parts of the site.
Note: I wasn't sure if I should publish this blog. It has been on my mind since I became a mod back in September 2012. In the rules, all users are responsible for their content. Please don't take my observations or opinions as it if it was the truth. I can be wrong.
The Invisible Walls refers to the segregation of our site, externally and internally.
I won't go into much depth with external walls because this blog will deal with internal walls. As most of you guys and gals know that Anime Vice has been seen as the red haired child of the Whiskey Media Family. After the Whiskey Media sale out, Anime Vice and Screened only have each other as support, but most folks don't know about the sale out. I remember in the battle forums, most users were surprised when I told them about the sale out and why Giant Bomb and Comic Vine had those upgrades. Tested was the only site out of Bermanbraun's acquired Whiskey Media sites that had most upgrade. I'll leave it that point. Time to focus on the infrastructure of Anime Vice.
Anime Vice is a beautiful and unique community. I haven't seen other websites that has wiki, battle forums, RPG, Reviews, and front page content. It's like a small town where everyone fits in their niche. Some users will explore other niche. This is quite natural. For a while, the wiki and battle community flourish while the RPG and Review communities had their peaks and droughts. After the sale out, the site's RPG and review community went down. We lost a lot of RPGers and reviewers. Forums, overall, were dead except for the battle threads. In 2012-2013, more folks left the site. Daniel, the gang, and I created discussion threads and took on weekly reviews on anime just to get things rolling. The two communities that remain strong were wiki and battle. The wiki community has more attention from the staff and mods than the battle forums. The battle forums had more activity due to lax rules. With the lax rules, the battle forum had more mishaps.
This is where the invisible walls come in. With all these factors, you can see how communities were shaped and developed. When I came in the battle forums, some of the users didn't know me or had their first encounters because they never left the forum to check out the front page or other parts of the site. I was a wiki editor who came into this unfamiliar community. Same applies to wiki editors. Most of them don't touch the forums. The wiki editors are more closer with the mods than the battle community because of the past community projects that dealt with wiki. Ethan and the old staff emphasize the wiki more than the forums.
Battle Forum has the most stigma. We tell folks if they don't want to see it, check the battle forum off on the preferences box. Yes, the battle threads get ugly, but it's party due to being a competitive sport in the form of debate. I inadvertently cause my own teammate to take a stance against the battle forums since I made some complaints about the battle threads on Twitter. With the help of users and mods, we worked on some key threads to make that will help get the Battle Forum back into shape. Also, there are folks from outside battle communities who drift to Anime Vice's battle forums. Some are good users while others cause a lot of trouble.
I haven't seen stigma against the RPG or wiki community.
I remain hopeful since our community is pretty dynamic. I still encounter folks who look down upon folks of particular niche. I kindly tell them that they're not appreciating the community as a whole.
Towards the end of 2013, the walls are breaking slowly with the help of mods and well rounded users who promoted community projects.
Welcome everyone! For who are new, I do these blogs to stress family in this community while promoting official releases. Some of us have public libraries that have manga. I like to show what my little brothers and sisters check out. This past semester, I have been busy. I didn't get to drive them to library like I used to do past years. I lived in a split household: commuting between school, roommate's apartment, and family home across cities. I don't have much time to spent with loved ones.
This blog would be short. I just stopped on by the family house and drop the books since parents are too busy while my siblings are still at school.
Note: I do censor the barcodes for security reasons.
I have 2 brothers. One enjoys reading comics: Garfield, Yugioh, and pretty much any Shonen battle manga series. The other brother doesn't like manga. He loves reading about cars, air-crafts, and vehicles. He wants to be an auto mechanic or a pilot.
My little sister is the one who got me into manga and anime. If it wasn't for her, I wouldn't discover Anime Vice. She actually found the site for me, but I never thought of making an account. When she recommend Fairy Tail, I was looking online for Fairy Tail, a legal way of watching it,and images for Fairy Tail. I bumped into this site and saw the wiki and image galleries.
I haven't check out Read or Die or Otomen. She's into romance comedic manga and anime series, but she will get into anything. It's probably the same for me since I was a predominant Shonen fan. I tried everything that was recommended by my folks in Anime Vice. I don't have a lot folks outside of AV besides family and two of my Church friends who watches anime and read manga.
Thank you for reading. Hope you and your family are doing well. Get them to try manga and anime! You will be surprise.
