Howdy everyone and welcome to the Weekly Fairy Tail report. I'm Taka, a proud Fairy Tail fan and wiki editor here to invite some discussion on this franchise. Last week, the Fairy Tail gang splits into teams to fight the Oracion Seis, and this week, we are seeing some action.

Plot

The Fairy Tail gang set out to confront the Oracion Seis, but they are not having much luck. Natsu's team is suffering from the lack of teamwork while the other teams are getting overpowered by the Oracion Seis.

Can the Fairy Tail folks beat their opponents?

Note: I stitched this scene, and I found it was blurry if you zoom in. I just wished it was sharp and crisp.

Verdict

Beware of Spoilers!

Good

What happened to friendship and teamwork, Natsu?
What happened to friendship and teamwork, Natsu?
  • If you prefer humor, the battles have silly mishaps especially in Natsu's battle. Bixlow and Wendy's battle is awesome, but the cow thing is so random.
  • Gildartz gets some spotlight as the old pervert who is harassing poor Laki. He is just like Makarov.
  • Juvia and Gajeel's scene is pretty cute with Gray who is only wearing boxers and a bow tie.
  • Manga Differences: They gave Mest another role, a drunkard who blames himself for letting Wendy and her friends down. I like him that way than his manga counterpart. What do you guys and gals feel?

Bad

It's hard to take this guy seriously
It's hard to take this guy seriously
  • If you are looking for a serious fight, this episode will disappoint you.
  • It's hard to take Gattman seriously like last time, but magic is interesting because the damage depends on how much magic one has. If Gattman looked more sinister, he would be an awesome bad, mage. Some of the Oracion Seis's post time-skip looks are awful.

Overall, this episode is good but not awesome. It still leaves fans unsatisfied, but the episode preview looks promising.

Thanks

Thanks everyone for reading this report and please support the Fairy Tail franchise and the wiki editors who are working hard on this project and others in Anime Vice.

Hey everyone, welcome to the weekly Campione! anime report! This week goes by fast. Last week, we had a cool battle between Athena and Godou, and the episode was excellent. This week seems to be all about Yuri Mariya, a shrine maiden who is smitten by Godou.

Plot Summary

Yuri has been having nightmares about Duke Vobon and questionable feelings for Godou after being teased by Hikari and Erica. She begins to bond with Godou who helps Yuri buy a cellphone while Liliana spies on her.

What does the Duke have in plan?

Verdict

Beware of spoilers!

Good

Hikari tells Yuri her strategy
Hikari tells Yuri her strategy
  • Yuri had a lot of attention in this episode, and she can get quite bashful. I love this quote of hers, It almost feels like I've given you a lot of my "first times" today. I couldn't get a good shot when she said this quote. It can give you the wrong impression like with Godou.
  • Despite that Yuri has fallen for Godou, Erica gets a bit jealous and tells Godou that she will only allow Yuri and no one else. We get a love triangle element in this series.
  • It's an unpleasant day when Godou gets hit in the crotch and Yuri gets kidnapped. That is what I think of this episode's title.

Bad

Same old scene
Same old scene
  • Harem cliches: If you are not good with cliches, you might not like the beginning with Godou and Erica's scene. Plus, Erica did this fan service twice, so it gets repetitive.
  • Missing Info: When did they meet Salvatore Doni? I don't know if the manga or Light Novel does it too. It wouldn't hurt to see a flashback of Godou meeting Salvatore.

All in all, this episode is great since it gives some spotlight on Yuri and relationships between Godou and the two ladies. I'm not sure how Godou can handle this problem which is quite frequent in harem genre.

Thanks

Thank you guys and gals for reading this report. Please support the anime and wiki editors who are working hard.

Wiki Progress: I created three new pages, Campione, Salvatore Doni, and Hikari Mariya; Ep. 5 is done.

Ciao and welcome to the 2nd Italian anime spotlight blog! Today, we are covering Campione!, a harem based series that just started airing in June of 2012.

For those who are new to Campione!, here is a synopsis.

Synopsis

It revolves around Godou Kusanagi who is an ordinary high school student who killed a god and claimed its power. He becomes a Campione, one who slays other gods. After becoming a Campione, Godou finds himself attracting a few beautiful women. Erica Blandelli is the first gal who changes and rocks Godou's life.

Characters

Beware of spoilers!

Godou Kusanagi
Godou Kusanagi
Godou is a young, Japanese (Giapponese) man who visits Italy to deliver a Grimoire to his grandfather's friend. Over there, he encounters Erica and her maid who are fighting a god. With his first kiss from Erica, Godou unlocks the Ten Avatars and kicks butt with his Golden Sword.
Erica Blandelli
Erica Blandelli
Erica is a beautiful, buxom Italian woman who is a prideful knight. She becomes smitten by Godou after their fateful encounter.
Arianna
Arianna
Arianna is Erica's weird maid who cannot cook or drive properly.
Athena
Athena
Due to spoilers, Athena is a mysterious silver haired, loli girl.
I had to keep it short, but you guys and gals know that Athena is a god.

Italian Theme

Campione! is first set in Italy. Yet, it goes back to Japan on the second episode. I'm hoping the action and story occurs more in Italy. Plus, we have a few Italian women in the show who are very exotic.

Though, we haven't seen any Italian foods, but we got Italian words. I think it's because little Arianna can't cook while Erica is more of a warrior than a chef. Godou's sister, Shizuka Kusanagi, is the only chef I seen. She needs to learn to cook some Italian cuisine since Erica is going to be Godou's little roommate.

  • Bachio - It's an Italian word for kiss.
  • Ci vediamo means "until we meet again, see you."
  • Cuore di Leone - It's the name of Erica's sword which means Heart of Lion. I'm not sure about the literal translation.
  • Diavola Rossa means "Red Devil."

Compared to La Storia della Arcana Famiglia, the reverse harem anime has more an Italian theme with more words.

I'm afraid that is all I have so far. If I'm wrong in my defintions, please feel free to correct me.

Thank you for reading and commenting on this blog.

Ci vediamo!

Welcome to the weekly Sket Dance report! I'm Taka, and I see my partner is submitting the Quick Picks in the activity feed. I have to post this before BigHeart711 does as an empty blog then edit it. Sorry for the inconvenience. It's a pride thing. I want people to see BigHeart711's blog on the top.

Bossun struggles to get to the restroom to finish his business, but someone or something keeps getting in his way as he tries to find a toilet. Can Bossun fulfill his "duty" before he embarrasses himself?

When Shinba and Sojiro are going to graduate, their postions are up for grabs, and the student council are going to do a manga ad. Sasuke asks Bossun for help since he has no artistic skills. Will Bossun and the gang make an awesome manga ad using Tsubaki's lame hero?

Verdict

Beware of spoilers!

Good

Bossun flashes his neighbor
Bossun flashes his neighbor
  • Sket Dance's first story involves a lot of crude humor. It's based on fans' preferences if they enjoyed this Gintama style humor. I'm a bit wishy washy. There were good moments, and some were just plain nasty. The best part is where Bossun flashes his neighbor by accident. What was your favorite moment in this bizarre story?
  • It's another manga quest, and I love it since it has the same Roman's randomness but with a Bossun twist. It's funny that everyone relies on Bossun's artistic skills. There are so many bad artists in this show.
  • It was tough to do a stitched cap for Bossun. The lighting is strange. This is best I can do.

Bizarre

Sasuke approves!
Sasuke approves!
  • Since I don't have any bad stuff to report and I'm a damn softie, I'll cover some bizarre moments.
  • Sasuke has some crazy ideas for his hero. It looks like an Alien.
  • They showed Bossun's intestines. It's a bit too much.
  • Finally, Sasuke goes from cat to dog.

Overall, this episode is very funny and enjoyable if you can tolerate the potty jokes. The second half is reminiscent to Roman's wacky manga adventures.

Thanks

Thank you for reading this weekly report and please support the Sket Dance franchise and wiki editors.

All I can did is finished Ep. 69's wiki page.
