I really don't know what to say... The overused gag of Atsushi being accused of being a pedophile predominates this episode as the youngest Miyagawa sibling tries to get noticed during safety week. The problem is that, while this innocent little boy is just trying to make sure people know he's one of the students, one of the police officers misunderstand his intentions as romantic moves. This, of course, leads to the volunteers to think he is a creep making the moves on his friend Hina.
I'll be honest, I thought the fact that the female police officer thought he was hitting on her was funny. It was great because he was confused as just a grownup. It wasn't until he was walking to school alongside Hina-chan that I begun to cringe. Then an unexpected thing happened. In the second episode's Winter Watch I mentioned that I would have liked to see how Atsushi is discharged from these constant false accusations. We finally get to see that here as his teacher gets proof ready to bail out her student.
I chuckled a bit, but the same joke is still being used. The reason I found this more amusing than other times was because the audience finally gets to see what happens after the arrest. It's not just him being taken away in a "comedic" manner. Minor change but there was some change at least!
