Is it okay to post stitched together pictures of a panning scene or low quality screengrabs?

I came across this show on a random userchanel on YouTube, since them, I was hooked. Glad to see I am not the only one here who knows about the show.

General Discussion » Offical Subs vs. Fan Subs

@Newten: ANd sometimes professional companies like Funimation can fumble too, onDemand, I found the subtitles to the comment boxes to be far too small to read for the episode when they introduce the Zuka Club...

General Discussion » Offical Subs vs. Fan Subs

You gotta love how in the Sentai and Kamen Rider fansubs, they capture the awesomeness of the henshins!

@sickVisionz: It's just with Kai and Blu-Ray, I thought they're trying to open up to the next thing...

Dragon Ball » Why Dragon Ball GT Sucks?

It borders between fanfiction and offical story. They have good ideas, like the GT Movie, SSJ4, and Baby, but are greatly hinder by plot holes, like how they introduce stronger fighters with no build or contination....

Dragon Ball » DVD Sales

Just saw a commerical saying that all 9 season DVD sets of DBZ are now cheap (kind like how I found the first 2 DVD sets of Inuyasha at my bookstore one time). Does this mean it will be no longer being in publish... until they come out with some Classic Special Edition or something?

General Discussion » Offical Subs vs. Fan Subs

@Sonata: Touche, but they do add in annoted details for those ignorant of some Japan's culture. From Zorori FanSubs, I learned a great deal of Japanese superstition, jokes, and so on...

General Discussion » A Live Anime/Manga Movie like XMen:1st Class.

@Sonata: Yeah, but the nerds will be the last one to be happy. When the Network skipped the first episodes of Dragonball GT because they thought they would be too boring, the fans were kinda outraged... though today, most fans have a disdain for that series as filler.

General Discussion » A Live Anime/Manga Movie like XMen:1st Class.

@rein: Good counterpoint, but I was referring to American Studios making these things....though I am sure some studio or director will give THEIR take of this movie like so many other Japanese movies, like Pulse, soon enough...

General Discussion » A Live Anime/Manga Movie like XMen:1st Class.

After watching X-Men First Class, I accept myself: can a live action movie based on an anime/manga be as loosely adapted like this movie, and fans would still enjoy it? Granted, I didn't believe for a sec that Beast and Mystique were an item in both continuity of the comics and the movies, but it didn't really ruin the movie for me.

But still, as we all seen in the parody videos, comics, and tv shows, we anime nerds are rather hard to be pleased with whatever comes from the Western Studios. Afterall, the-movie-we-refuse-to-recall was the worst of them. But other movies like "The Guyver" could have worked... without all that "humor" bits put into it. ANd it looks like "Cowboys and Aliens" are taking over from what might have been "Cowboy Bebop"

So what do you say?

Flashback » Wow!

When I made this page, I didn't expect it to be like this popular.... I meant it as a little joke, as abridged series always talk about flashbacks in their episodes...

Anti-Hero » Do stern characters count?

Do super stern characters count as Anti-Heroes, like military men that live by a code of conduct.

Okay, I'll make the page, but what to call it? Has anyone seen it on TVTropes?

Editing & Tools » Is there already a page for this?

I want to add the anime/manga  story element in which the main hero characters have to rush through a castle/fortress like maze in order to stop bad guys but are constantly sidetracked by encountering guard and other warriors in the way before making it to the final boss, kinda like the casual tournament story-telling method.  But does the page already exist?

Major death » Do Fake out counts

Do fakes out major deaths count, like how Kuwabara "died" by Torguro in the Dark Tournament, or do they belong under fake outs?

Just Anime » Finding an old website.

It was when they had to fight Ro-Beast like enemies, I think one was a just a normal cat but force to fight, another one once saved on the main women characters. It's not much as the wbesite I am looking for, rather than finding what anime it was about on.

Yu-Gi-Oh! » The True Meaning of the Duel Monsters Game?

@Kelleth:  Well, thats a bit too basic. I think in the 2nd season of GX, the Light was to represent a false presumption of God and the church, as those who say they're are true belief and those who do not follow are deemed evil and the darkness itself is more about the stuff that have been rejected or the unknown... revolving around a card game of course. And in the thrid season... we had Yubeel..... yeah, she kinda made that Darkness being bad.

@rein: Hey, i went to a catholic church school, and they banned the games (video and cards) because they're  distracting the students from the their studies, plus their stuff was being lost or stolen. And to add in more of the contradiction of the church as a controlling force, they embrace students to read the Harry Potter books just because they were actually liked by the students and were increasing the reading boom.
