For the first time in a years I'm in the mood to wiki edit.

Every anime I've seen to completion

Took a while, but I feel confident in saying that this is every single anime I've ever seen to completion or long running series that I've seen all of and still watch on a regular basis. Everything before Kemono no Souja Erin is in ABC order. After that it's by the date that I finished it.

1. Ouran High School Host Club
2. Paprika
3. Paranoia Agent (TV)
4. Perfect Blue

This rocks. I love psychological thrillers. Someone needs to be bring the Blu-Ray release over to the US.

5. Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~

Transparent is one of my favorite ED of all time. Pretty good show as well. Basically Noir remixed.

6. The Place Promised in Our Early Days
7. RahXephon

It took me a while to fully accept that this wasn't going to be like Eva and that it was 100% pilot drama rather than Eva's mix of pilot drama and action, but once I did I thought this series was ok.

8. Real Drive
9. Rental Magica

There's a scene from the anime that sticks out for me even though I've long since forgotten anything else about it. The main character uses his eye power and we get a close up shot of blood from his eye trickling down his cheek while a string section plays a lovely riff. That's one of my favorite shots/scenes from any anime.

10. Rurouni Kenshin: Trust and Betrayal
11. Saki

This show makes mahjong seem like the most action packed high octane ultra tense game ever conceived.

12. She, The Ultimate Weapon (TV)

Part of my love of this show comes from watching it with coworkers who saw it in my bag and were like, "oh you like anime too?" Great show though. It can be super depressing and they aren't afraid to take out major characters on a regular basis. If you like shows that can bring down your mood, this is a great one.

13. School Days

I love School Days but I wish I hadn't seen it so early in my journey into harem anime. Everytime that some character bitches up in a sexual situation I always say to myself, "Makoto wouldn't be having none of this pussyfooting around. For hell or high water, he'd be getting it in right now." Good show though. I think Makoto being a jerk/womanizer taints people's opinion on the quality of the show.

14. Scrapped Princess
15. Sengoku Basara

I love this show. It's crazy and over the top action that looks really pretty.

16. Serial Experiments Lain

I think this was the first non-action or hyper-violent anime that I ever saw.

17. Narutaru

I love this show. It's horrible, the production values make it look like still jpgs sliding across the screen at times, the voice acting is wretched no matter what language you're in and the story is all over the place... but in sheer craziness and nonsense this show can't really be beat. It totally fills the Blue Gender thing of a show radically changing up in the middle. Blue Gender at least kinda makes sense. The first half is a pretty blatant knock off of Pokemon but the switch up is great. Never would I have thought that Pokemon would eventually have things like: a child getting impaled (on the beak of a Pokemon nonetheless), kid decapitations, sexual assault/rape with a test tube and kids getting thrown from 5th story windows.

18. Shakugan no Shana

I believe this is the first show that introduced to me to the wonderful world of Rie Kugimiya.

19. Shakugan no Shana Second
20. Shigofumi: Letters from the Departed

Good show. Often depressing, which is something I like.

21. Shigurui: Death Frenzy

I like this show. I've seen it called gratuitous but I feel like all of the violence and nudity had a place and served a purpose to show how deranged and disturbed the characters are.

22. Heaven's Lost Property

Funny light hearted show with a couple of sad bits. My favorite thing is that they made a bunch of EDs that are related to the episode (and not just clips thrown in a generic template) and they're often really funny.

23. Soul Eater

Good stuff. It feels like they took the silliness of One Piece and combined it with the action of a great Naruto fight.

24. Spice and Wolf

Sweet show. Lawrence and Holo are my favorite non-comedy couple.

25. Spice and Wolf II
26. Starship Operators
27. Spriggan

Killer kids hold a special place in my heart.

28. The Book of Bantorra

Good series. I loved all of the episodic stuff and there's some great fights.

29. Toradora

Kugimiya strikes again, but this show would be good even if she wasn't in it.

30. Library Wars
31. Trigun

I love a lot of the situations and characters. Young Knives is probably the best little kid ever.

32. True Tears
33. Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust

The first anime film I saw in a movie theater.

One of my faves. It's like Nana School Days - Death. One of the only harem shows where the main guy totally lives up to the legend of Makoto from School Days.

35. Wolf's Rain

Good show, my favorite ED and can be a Debby Downer when it wants to.

36. Xam'd: Lost Memories

Cool show. Reminds me of FMA with less action but more uplifting.

37. The Familiar of Zero: Roundelay of the Princess

I watched this because of Rie Kugimiya.

38. Zettai Karen Children

A great super goofy light hearted comedy. The tone reminds me of Hayate no Gotoku, my favorite comedy series. And Rie Kugimiya has a nice reoccurring role.

39. Erin

5/3/2010 It took a few episodes for me to get into it but I really enjoyed this one. It has a nice mix of light hearted/sweet segments and darker elements.

40. Tokyo Magnitude 8.0

5/4/2010 Good show. I started watching it the day before and got hooked. I loved the twist in episode 10 until about 6 minutes before it was exposed and it added a nice (obviously subjective) tone that I thought the show had been missing up to that point.

41. Haruka Nogizaka`s Secret

5/9/2010 I like the genre so I enjoyed it but there's nothing particularly memorable about this outside of some episodes feeling like blatant propaganda from the anime/manga industry.

42. Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu: Purezza

5/16/2010 I think I'm done with this franchise and harems in general for a while. This whole genre would be significantly better if they took a clue from School Days or White Album and stopped making the main guys so afraid of women.

43. Time of Eve

5/17/2010 Interesting show. It feels like a light hearted take on Ergo Proxy and the Animatrix episodes about how the war started combined with some of the themes in Casshern SINS. I also like how short every episode is. I hope they do a season 2.

44. Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance

5/26/2010 This is what I was hoping for when they announced these movies years ago. The majority of it was a completely different story rather than just redrawn episodes like 1.0. It feels a little rushed at times but so far I like this story more than the original.

45. B Gata H Kei Yamada’s First Time

6/22/2010 Cuter and funnier than I thought it would be.

46. House of Five Leaves

7/2/2010 Good show. It was nowhere near as graphic as Shigurui but I thought that the tone and the slow moving but never boring pacing and storytelling of the two are very similar. Good series.

47. Angel Beats!

7/5/2010 I enjoyed the mix of comedy, action and sweet sob stories. I usually dislike happy endings that go 100% perfect for everyone but this on sat well with me. Good show.

48. Wagnaria!!

7/6/2010 My favorite show from Spring 2010. Very silly and light hearted. I hope they make a second season.

49. Kure-nai (2010 OAV)

7/7/2010 Initially I was turned off by the change in art style, but once I unbutthurtified myself over that I enjoyed it as much as the first series. The 3 episodes each focus on something that was great about the series.

50. Chance Pop Session

8/2/2010 Pretty good series. I think the story goes over the top with melodrama and might have been better if it was just about music or if everyone wasn't so connected, but still, I enjoyed watching it.

"Haters be dammed, this show floats my boat.

Definitely one of my favorite series. I like the story and the major fights are always well animated and a treat to watch. I really like the music in this series as well.

I like the fact that I am not the only one to like Naruto and to put it in my faves but didn't you say the story in Naruto was only decent to get you from one fight to the other.(just asking)

Well, I guess I should say there are characters and events that I like. I think the story overall is meh and if there weren't nice fights, I would have dropped it. But, there are scenes, events and characters that I think are interesting.

When I say story, I'm thinking like the overall progression and what drives the show forward. I think that part is meh, but there are cool scenes and events in it that I like alot.

You're biggest anime otaku I ever seen in this community.

If there was a Millionaire show on anime topics, you will ace it like it was nothing. For me, I think I only watch 20 shows to completion.

@takashichea: Thanks! I'll wear that like a badge of honor. Unfortunately I probably wouldn't do to well on a Trivia show. I forget a lot of the small details about shows that I watch and mostly remember how I felt about them and scenes or plot points that stood out to me.

Awesome list. I am currently watching Bleach online and i agree with you 100%. I hate how they have random ass filers in the middle of fights. I would rather have Naruto Flashback Moments. At least they don't interrupt the current fights with random filler episodes. They only do it after the current arc ends and then they do a filler if the anime is catching up.

Yo do you want to come over to anime vice's sister site Screened and help out adding in anime characters from these shows?

We Could use the help.
