Doesn't sage mode allow for one to see in chakra types? which allows them to see through some genjutsu? if that's the case, i give it to Jiraya

i'm leaning toward Naruto, especially now that he controls the Kyuubi chakra

I had noticed lately that many characters in both Naruto and Bleach haver very large similarities, at first i passed it off as coincidence, but the more i think about it, the more it makes sense, could it just be because both anime follow the stereotypical anime archtype, or maybe i'm just crazy

let's look at a list

Naruto and Ichigo- both spikey haired protagonists who get vastly more powerful as their respective anime progresses, both have a deep love for their friends and would die for them (although these traits describe most shonen heroes)

Uryu and Sasuke- both dark haired and initially mysterious young men driven by the urge to get revenge on those who have wronged them in the past, and are the best friends of the main character

Rukia and Sakura- the "love interests" of both main characters, who are calm most of the time but have a fiery temper when annoyed.

Orihime and Hinata- Both quiet, timid girls who have "crushes" on the main characters but would never admit it, also both have pretty large boobs

Neji and Hitsugaya- Quiet, calm, child geniuses who are very mature for their ages

Zabuza and Kenpachi Zaraki- both savage, bloodthirsty killers who seem tough but deep down has soft sides, at least toward the people they care about (who both seem to be orphaned children they took in off the streets)

Itachi and Byakuya- seemingly cold hearted and immensely strong characters who are major threats to both main characters, both act coldly toward their younger siblings (Rukia and Sasuke) and seems not to care, when deep down, they do, and are actually not as villainous as they come of to be

3rd Hokage and Captain Yammamoto- very old leaders of powerful villages who are thought to be the most powerful in said villages.

Orochimaru and Mayuri Kurosuchi- the mad scientists of the bunch, with pale skin, and devious minds, they both would do anything to further their experiements, including altering their own bodies dramatically

Urahara and Kakashi- Both mysterious men who are considered really powerful, and train the main characters to utilize their full strength

there are a few more too, but i think you get my drift!

hmm, well this is close...i think Itachi's sharingan would be able to keep up with Byakuya's flash step, kido and jutsu would probably cancel each other out, itachi does have genjutsu, but Byakuya would probably get out of it with bankai..in the end i say Byakuya barely wins due to one fact, itachi gets weaker the longer he fights (using up chakra, the mangekyo's side effects etc) whiel Byakuya can use senbonzakura as much as he wants

In Sage Mode, Naruto is a physical tank and he should be able to overwhelm Sasuke with his superior physical strength. Not to mention that Sasuke has never even seen Sage Mode and isn't familiar with Frog Kata. In pure taijutsu skill, Sasuke is better I believe though.
