Mangas to try! (Please suggest some for me) n_n
The following list is all of the mangas that I would love to try/read starting this summer. Any recommendations from all who view this list would be much appreciated.
1. Elfen Lied

I loved the Anime show (it was thought-provoking and a instant, yet bloody classic). I should start this (along with the rest of the mangas on the list) this summer.

2. Kämpfer

Watched the entire anime (including the god-awful final episode and two specials)and found it to be quite a good (if flawed) show. Now to see if the manga was better than the Anime was.

3. Bleach

I am currently stuck in the Bount Saga in the anime (episode 87)...I love this show (has many bright spots and great twists in it) and I will give the manga a try this summer.

4. Gunslinger Girl

Up through Episode 3 on the friends say the manga is much better, so I guess that I will have to give it a shot too.

5. Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion

Highly recommended by the majority of the AGC, I will give this a try during the summer due to the fact that I enjoyed the anime.

6. He is My Master

Recommended by Nuri and Boxman120...they said that it is better than the anime...I have my doubts, but I will try it.

You should definatly try out Dance in the Vampire Bund, I see you like Ecchi, though it does have the lolicon protagonists (and one shota i know of) it's a GREAT story, otherwise I wouldn't reach just for a shota/loli ecchi XD

Ruroni Kenshin needs to be on this list. The Elfen Lied manga is interesting...both the manga and the anime have problems and strengths, but they have different problems and strengths so looking at both is worth it.

As a good rule of thumb, if a manga is an adaptation of an anime, it is probably bad. The other way around seems to work out better. Probably because you can use the manga as a storyboard, but there are things you can do in animation that don't translate well to still pictures.
