#Anime Vice Polls & Contests » AVWP Week #8: Swimsuit Contest Bonus Round ~ Group C

Another tough matchup for me. Stuck on both Lucy and Satellizer el Bridget at the moment (split 50/50 on who I should vote for).

*Edit: Going with Lucy Heartfilia on this one*

#Anime Vice Polls & Contests » AVWP Week #8: Swimsuit Contest Bonus Round ~ Group B

Astraea all the way. Too big of a fan of Sora no Otoshimono/Heaven's Lost Property not to vote for her. It would be criminal of me not to vote for her....

#Anime Vice Polls & Contests » AVWP Week #8: Swimsuit Contest Bonus Round ~ Group A

Ouch...at the moment, I am hung up between Junko and Erza. Both are awesome, yet it is hard to just choose one....

*EDIT: after some consideration, Junko gets my vote. Sorry Erza!*

General Discussion » Doesnt anyone just hate harem protagonists?

Well, Tomoki (Heaven's Lost Property/Sora no Otoshimono) is the funniest, most "non-annoying" male lead characters that is in a harem that does not upset me. Have you tried it?

General Discussion » Anime and manga Differences

Hmm...Demon King Daimao (the anime) was much different in comparison to what Ichiban Ushiro no Daimao (the manga) turned out to be. The manga had much more character development and plot content that moved the story along for the characters while the anime headed off in a new, more "fan-service" based direction that made for some laughs but sort of put a damper on what could have been an awesome series had it been done right. Same thing with the Rosario + Vampire anime (which strayed from what the manga was doing and took things in a new, more ecchi-themed direction compared to what the manga had). How do I know? I own the manga boxset (Rosario + Vampire Vol. 1-10) and found myself enjoying the manga way more than I enjoyed both anime seasons. Heck, even Heaven's Lost Property (based off Sora no Otoshimono manga) modified things from the manga, but not to the extent that other series have done in the past.

Just Anime » Ani-Crap Poll #15

Mouse. Heard that it was bloody awful from several people at FanimeCon the other year. I will vote for that one.

One Piece » One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 (PS3) Coming Summer 2013

Agreed. Hopefully they make some minor tweaks to the game in order to help make it one of the best One Piece games to ever be released. From what I have seen so far, it looks to be better than the original (new playable characters, Arcs, etc) [written on iPad, which does not support the text editor that AV uses]

#Anime Vice Polls & Contests » AVWP Week #2: Read the Manga Chapter or Wait for the Anime Episode?

Rather knock out the manga chapter before watching the anime episode. Unfortunately, I have a ton of One Piece chapters to catch up on in order to be able to read the chapter before watching the anime.

Hmm...interesting choices. I was going to go with Miu, but then again, who can resist Erza Scarlet when she dons the black bikini? xD

#Anime Vice Polls & Contests » AVWP Week #1: Chibi, Yay or Nay?

Chibi has its moments, especially in Heaven's Lost Property (Anime) and Sora no Otoshimono (Manga). The majority of Tomoki's best freak-outs and funny moments happen when he is portrayed in a chibi-style compared to the rest of the characters. Those who have read the manga or seen the anime can agree with me on this.

#Anime Vice Polls & Contests » AVWP Week #1: Sub vs. Dub!

I find myself watching roughly 95% of my anime subbed and occasionally 5% of it dubbed (when a dubbed version is available). I pass on the dubbed versions, however, mainly because the voices used in the dub are either terrible (see a episode of KanoKon dubbed and see what I mean o_O) or they just don't match the character.
