SamJaz (Level 19)

Ran a mile, picked up some shopping, spent 20 mins on the punchbags, jet washed the steps, beat Sonic 1, and it's half past nine in the morning. I deserve some breakfast.

We have actual superheroes. They actually bring criminals to the police station. The criminals get charged. Sorry Gotham, he's ours now.

Who has read it, and why isn't it here? It's quite probably the greatest Manwha ever written and I can't find it anywhere on this site.

To quote TVtropes, Veritas is a martial arts sonyun Manhwa written by Yoon Joon-sik and illustrated by Kim Dong-hoon. It is published in Booking magazine. The official website can be found here. The manhwa is about a hard headed high school student who seeks to become the strongest and find out who killed his master.

Gangryong is a high schooler unlike others. He has always had a dream of being the strongest. One day he meets Youcheon aka ''Lightning Tiger'', who saves him from a bunch of thugs. Gangryong begs Lightning Tiger to teach him. Lightning Tiger teaches him apowerful skill and then disappears. One year later, people come to see him and announce that his "master" is dead and show him the only body part they managed to recover was his charred, broken remains of his arm. Because he was his only student, Gangryong has to follow them and go to a school where everybody has supernatural powers. He accepts this as a way to farther his training and to find out why his master was killed. There, he endears himself to the student body with his reckless and cocky attitude.

Seriously, this is probably the most hardcore thing ever without going into Black Lagoon territory. Everything it does it does right. The plot does not revolve around the main character, like in most shounen titles, but the main character isn't denied his right, like in Tenjou Tenge. There are no undeserved power-ups, the power curve is realistic, and the main character is realistic, likeable, and has actual faults, but not played for comedy like in Beelzebub.

Simply put, this is a seinen done right. Who's read it and loves it?

Just got back. What I miss?

Thanks everyone, it's been great.

As many of you know, I've been on a mission for my church for almost five months now, and I returned for twelve days before going away again for 24 months, with no internet usage outside of my email. So, no Animevice.
And it's been great, being with you for this short time, but I'm off again too soon.

It's back to work for SamJaz. I'll be serving in the East Anglia area of the United Kingdon as a Missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. If I see any of you, we'll get lunch. If not, well, I'll see you on the other side.
And yes, I am coming back to this place. I love you all too much to leave forever.

Besides, all you RPers? You got an army of SamJaz's waiting to kick your asses. Look forward to it.

Duders, it's only over for a llittle while.

Well, the reason I get to spend so much time on this site is because I'm unemployed and I'm preparing to go on a Mission for my church. This is two years voluntary service that I won't get to spend any time online at all except for church work. IE No Anime.
Don't even get to watch non-disney cartoons in my free time.

Anyway, I've been asked to serve a mini-mission to fill a gap in the teams of the full-time missionaries. So from Thursday the Second of December to an unspecified time in the next three months, I will be offline from this site.

A couple of weeks after I get back, I'll be off again in two years, so anything you need to do with me, now is the time.

Duders, Later.
