The Dark Continent arc started in chapter 340 (the anime ends with 339), and the last chapter before the most recent hiatus was 349, so almost nothing to animate at the moment. And it seems like it's going to be a huge arc. If Togashi ever gets around to finishing it, I bet Madhouse will come back to HxH. They've done it with Hajime no Ippo, the first season was in 2000, and the most recent season was this past year.
I'll allow the topic to stay open for now as it looks like this could be something worth discussing. If things get too heated, let me or the other mods know and we will deal with things at our discretion.
It's just thinly veiled MRA misogynist garbage. There's nothing worth discussing except that OP is an idiot.
So, what will happen to the series after 148 ?
There was an interview with a staffmember that implied Madhouse will come back to HxH if Togashi releases enough chapters.
So probably in 10 years.
10/10 Fantastic adaptation.
Can't believe there were people who dropped this because of them suspecting no romantic progression, despite it not even being that kind of series.
Legit one of the funniest manga I've read and the great production values and VAs really helped the anime stand out.
Polnareff and Kakyoin's hand signal moment is so amazing. Like, they're dicking around in a life or death situation, it's fucking hilarious.
Also dat preview...
Difficult situation this week again. But seriously why do they use a submarine to travel :D
Well, they've tried everything else. This ep was pretty funny, with Polnareff's "Oh My God!", all the anime original Suzie scenes, and the "I'm sure Jotaro is helping out Mr. Joestar with something right now."
"Jotaro help me get my scuba gear on."
"Do it yourself."
Ok, so I have two questions:
1- does this arc end next episode ?
2- will there be an episode next week ?
148 will be the end. I have a guess it will end on chapter 339, which is the end of the Election arc, as 340 starts the next arc.
Oh Araki, you lovable scamp.
It was a bad idea to watch episode 20 after Akame ga Kill Ep. 8, two sad episodes in a row. I wonder how will Polnareff will get out of this mess now, dealing with his dead sister and his dead friend.
If only he had gone through with his Polnareffland wish, things would just be so much simpler.
The anime is going to end with episode 148. Not surprising, as that will mark the end of the Election arc (and I hope they end on chapter 339, because it's perfect), and the new arc in the manga is still in the very early stages, since the most recent hiatus recently ended.
Episode 18 and we're not even half-way through the story. at this pace the anime might go for another 20+ episodes ._. I want my part 4 god damn it
It's already been confirmed to be 48-52 episodes, with a break in the middle. Part 4 hasn't been greenlit but the first volume sales of Stardust are out, and while not as good as season 1's first volume (around 19k bluray/dvd first week), Stardusts 12k for volume 1 is still pretty good. So there's no reason Part 4 won't be adapted, it's just gonna take a while.
The Lovers having an impromptu dance number (complete with stage lights) inside Joseph's head is truly an amazing experience. The 20 second ORAORA beatdown is pretty great, too.
