Does anyone else have a problem with finishing watching an anime? It has been a frequent problem of mine for years now. It doesn't matter how much I enjoy the series, somewhere between the 1/2 to 3/4 of the way through I just stop. Recently it has been Working!!, Bakemonogatari, Eden Of The East, Arakawa Under The Bridge, To Aru Majutsu no Index, Durarara and Darker Than Black. I don't dislike them and I didn't get bored of them, but there they sit, waiting for me.
This isn't a new problem. For example, it has been three years now and I still haven't watched the last two episodes of
Read Or Die TV. I really like it, too.
Could it be I just don't want things to end? I mean, if I never finish something, I always have more to look forward to. That doesn't even make sense, because how can I enjoy something if I don't watch it? Perhaps I need to be tied down, Clockwork Orange style, and forced to finish these series, and maybe I'll get over this.
