@SpeedForceSpider: Yeah, that's unfortunate, but several actual monster girl mangas have started recently.
@takashichea: Be as nosy as you want! I wanted people to discuss this topic! (Also, i found my old account!)
What stops gilgamesh from getting into his "Speed of thought" ufo with "Infinite nukes" and simply spamming the area into oblivion. (That's what a serious gilgamesh would probably do). Even if he decided to fight on foot, Ea literally is a weapon that rips apart reality and was able to shatter lonioi hetairoi (an entire separate dimension to pieces) and when used in the real world ripped apart the skys to show another dimension layered underneath it.
Berserk or negima (start from the beginning and do it like canon this time)
no, customers really are this retarded
Customer: Is this express?
Customer: Can i come on this line?
me: Do you have 12 items or less?
Me: so no
Customer: but i have close to 12 items or less (Referring to a wagon full of groceries)!
Me: But you don't have 12 items or less do you?
(conversation carries on for 5 more minutes)
and shit like this happens every single day.
Yeah, it's called the Cerberus syndrome. (TV tropes name)
basically it states that some series will continually get darker in order to appear to more mature audiences
Off the top of my head
Hitman reborn- A comedy story of a boy running around in his underwear leads into a series that features a girl whose parents hate her because she has no organs (Or was it that they beat her so much that her organs went into failure? Something like that) and it keeps getting daker
Shuffle - Light hearted harem turns yandere paradise.
Rosario + vampire- This one got dark pretty early, but it started from a happy go lucky harem series to implied rape, actual rape, death, racism, etc etc.
Negima- (why can i only think of harems?) started as a love hina with magic and progressed to a series where anyone can die, scenes that actually bring you to tears, philosophical debates about what constitutes a living being and a little boy watching everyone he loved killed in front of him.
I haven't read it myself, but I hear Negima ended really suddenly. It was just mentioned there would only be 3 more chapters in a pretty casual way. The ending was obviously a quick, sudden thing that didn't really conclude the series, so if you give it a look hopefully you're not too dissapointed!
Actually the ending of negima was awful.
We don't know how negi found his father, why eva is still a little girl, how the final boss was defeated, what ever happened to fate, and several other unfinished plot lines. I gotta admit as a hardcore fan of negima since i was in middle school, the ending really pissed me of
I don't think that demons from Yu Yu hakusho are effected by aging. If we look at Raizen, he was around for millennium and the only reason he was getting weaker was because he was starving to death (For well over a 1000 years). his old sparring partners and followers all seemed to imply that if Raizen would simply eat humans, he would return and remain at his peak indefinitely. While King Enma (Koenma's father and the ruler of spirit world) isin't a demon, i believe i remember koenma saying that enma created spirit world and has been alive since before humans came into existence. Basically what i'm trying to say is,
This battle would be a repeat of Goku vs the Ginyu force, but would be even more lopsided in piccolos favor. If you remember, Power levels were still official at this point. Ginyu had a power level of 120000 while first form frieza had a power level of 530000. Piccolo was not only stronger then first form frieza, but he stalemated third form frieza and it seemed as though he even had an advantage over him. Piccolo's power while fused with nail far surpassed Goku's when he battled with ginyu. The only reason Goku was able to fight frieza in his final form is because of the injuries he sustained while fighting ginyu and the anger he felt over all the people frieza had killed.
