1. Sailor Moon
Do I need to say anything? Really? |
2. The Vision of Escaflowne
Don't be put off by the noses, this series is unlike many, despite what you might gather from your initial impressions. A little bit of everything for everyone. |
3. Please Save My Earth
Holy crap, PSME doesn't even have a manga page. Again, one that you should probably read instead of watch. The six episode OVA doesn't cut it. Just read it. Don't read descriptions. It's a masterpiece that has too often fallen through the cracks. |

4. Kodocha
The manga is probably your best bet. It pulls off being a real gut-bustingly funny foray into slapstick and clever jokes, while still managing to be a real "slice of life" that might just make you tear up. |
5. Cardcaptor Sakura
Reinventing the magical girl genre, and creating some of your favorite concepts. CLAMP and love at it's finest. |
6. Slayers
Hilarious fantasy. Need I say more? Slayers puts little cracks into the "formal" fantasy party and creates a really solid world. It will make you laugh one moment, and make you cry the next. |
7. Revolutionary Girl Utena
Alright, this one isn't as old as some, but it's still a must-see. One of the very few yuri titles out there that isn't just for show. You will never see another anime like this. Zettai unmei mokushiroku! |
8. Now and Then, Here and There
No gimmicks here. Just watch it. |
9.
Come on, a movie with character designs by Yoshitaka Amano that isn't Vampire Hunter D. With a bigger budget. The animation and the creepiness will forever be ingrained on your soul. |

10. X
Hopefully now that Tsubasa is over, CLAMP might finish this one someday. Read the manga for some superb artwork and blood galore. |
