@paladin: I'm surprised you didn't bring Daisuke back he was kinda cool, my favorite scene being where he recreated Quicksilver to gain Crow's abilities, or at least Keith White :P

I wanted and I say that character was probably the easiest to RP with but well.
I talked this out with Kuma and Feha but turned out that there would be some clash with the current setting.
I may have cleared those up and such but instead chose to create a new character from scratch.
I technically thought up this character's concept the moment I read Feha's responses.
Albeit the name caused some problems because I wanted to keep the theme while not completely ripping off Solid Snake.

@Lobos_Del_Rayo: You definietly should.
It saves time and effort.
The former which you appear to lack with this.

Anyways, if there are some differences you can just quickly edit them after the copy-paste.
New name for a certain ability you had before? Copy-paste then fix.
You no longer destroy cities with your ultimate technique? Copy-paste then fix.
It's relatively easy.
I planned to do the same with Daisuke before I decided to make Lynx instead.

@paladin: Yeah, but Altair used the rope to pull the trigger of the firearm attached to his hidden forearm weapon.

D'oh!
Oh well, I think I misread that.
Anyways, it's up to Eleventh how does he continue it.
If he wants to go with his original action then he's free to ignore the rope part.
But he's also free to continue the story with a grappling hook embedded in Lynx's chest.

@Lobos_Del_Rayo: Did you just put up a whole lot of categories or was there something else you updated your bio with.
Speaking of which, why don't you just copy-paste half of the things you had for your old bio?
I know, this is a different characters but AFAIK his powerset is rather similar.

@SamJaz: He used the rope function of his hidden forearm weapon on Lynx.
Ropes are attached via hooks on surfaces.
There you go.

RPG » [ DK ] Who the hell are you!? [ Lynx Vs Altair ]

As expected, the enemy assassin was helpless against the swift use of CQC.
Abusing the assassin's temporary helpless state Lynx rapidly disarmed him, sent him flying, spinning and then crashing headfirst to the pavement.
It was a well-practiced combination Lynx already performed over a hundred times in combat.
Yet something felt off, Lynx could vaguely tell that from the target's muscle vibrations.
Lynx was about to force down his opponent and put him under a choke hold when the realization literally hit with a painful impact.
His opponent had already recovered and worse he was coordinated enough to deliver a counterattack.
Something suddenly sent him flying.
Lynx immediately looked down and saw a rope extending from his body.
Somebody shot him with an overpowered rope launcher and upon a quick inspection he noticed the hook embedded in his chest.
Lynx didn't ask how because he didn't have the luxury of time to think.
The enemy was standing up and likely planned to finish off Lynx while he was helplessly airborne.
Well, not so helpless anymore!
Lynx chose to not pull out the hook yet.
Hooks are nasty things that injure the victim both by entering and when somebody hastily remove them.
Lynx had no desire to deliberately harm himself.
Instead he strengthened his grip on the M9 and pointed it on his opponent who had yet to turn around.
Lynx pulled the trigger many times, unleashing tranquilizing bullets.
His hasty action and lack of stable stance didn't do well for his accuracy but from the distance less than 5 meters it just didn't matter.
There was no way he'd miss.
Meanwhile Lynx also started to pull on the rope.
If he was lucky that thing had a finite length meaning in time Lynx could use that to pull in the opponent, both to disorient him and draw him to Lynx's range with CQC.

RPG » [DK] Who The Hell Are You? - Altair vs Lynx - OOC

@SamJaz: Well, yeah. I found that part weird, too.
Oh well, he has regeneration powers so I suppose that also covers quick recovery.
Also after a second read he was actually using the recoil of his grappling hook gun.
That's a bit more understandable albeit given its small and concealed nature it possessing any power to propel Altair's body is weird and would technically render it rather unwieldy to use for its original purpose.

Anyways, there's actually another issue.
When and how did Altair jerk his arms backwards?
I can understand that he can do it but not exactly when his arms are being held by either by my hands or my own body weight.
Technically the real advantage of CQC is that the user can perform all these while somewhat even holding on to their weapons.
So I threw him and jerked his arms back while apparently still holding my tranq gun and stun knife.

Oh well, by the time I wrote this I already thought of a sufficient way to portray this scene without interrupting Altair's actions.
Some points are weird but let's roll with it.

Edit: Alright, here's another video about CQC. This time it's a detailed tutorial for the MGS3 version.

@Eleventh: Wait, what?
Receiving a kick to the abdomen restores vision?
And how's the recoil of a pistol is supposed to propel anyone?
Are you secretly carrying a literal hand cannon or something?

RPG » [DK] Who The Hell Are You? - Altair vs Lynx - OOC

Thanks.
So I made a combination attack because that's the only way to deliver spectacular fight scenes without it.
First I grab Altair's arms to spread them away, sparing me from another spray of bullets.
Then using my momentum I deliver a flying knee into Altair's abdomen, enough to send both of us flying a bit.
While in the air I use the CQC throw tech to spin Altair's body vertically 180 degrees so his legs are in the air while his head is almost touching the floor.
Then it crashes down by gravity with Altair landing face-down the floor.
Following that I still use my momentum and fell right into Altair's body but not before twisting his arms back to push my weiht against them.
By this point the pistols are likely were long thrown away.
Lastly I use my still free arms to put Altair on a chokehold, stun knife against his neck while the tranquilizer pistol pushed directly against his head.
I also use the stun knife's high voltage electric shock to zap him and reduce his resistance.
My suit has rather through insulation so even if I push my body against him the indirect shock is still harmless to me.
That's about it.
As you can see this is a combo.
You can try to break away from it at any point.
Albeit considering your seriously handicapped state I can't imaine it being anywhere close to easy.

As for CQC, I can show you a few examples how does it look like:

RPG » [ DK ] Who the hell are you!? [ Lynx Vs Altair ]

Being aware of the enemy's ambush Lynx rolled away from the attack with perfect timing, even leaving behind a flashbang as a surprise.
BANG!
The grenade exploded aloud in a blinding white light.
Even though Lynx looked away and wore earplugs he still felt a faint part of the effects.
But he didn't care because the enemy must be much worse off.
Not wasting his time Lynx jumped up in a somersault like fashion to straighten up and face his temporally disabled opponent.
He had absolutely no time to waste so by the time he landed Lynx already started rushing towards his opponent.
The distance was only a meager 2 or 3 meters.
But with all the hurry Lynx failed to notice something in time.  The enemy had already pulled out his guns.
"!"
Lynx felt surprised. Was the flashbang compltely ineffective on that guy? He was a demon or something so who knows?
With all the smoke Lynx couldn't see enough to confirm whether that was the truth.
But surprised or not there was no way to just stop. Neither he intended to.
He was well aware of the recklessness of this maneuver. Yet he chose it regardless.
Lynx focused on the hazy contours of the two barrels.
The thick smoke combined with his faint dizziness made this much more difficult than it should've been.
Worse, his own momentum limited his ability to dodge severely.  Yet that was all the options he was left with.
Lynx was ready. The enemy was similarly in a hurry so by experience he could already guess when the trigger was about to be pulled.
BAM!BAM!
Two almost simultaneous gunshots.
The first one missed even if Lynx hadn't adjusted his position.
The second grazed his shoulder, ripping off a narrow part of the Sneaking Suit along with his skin.
It was sure to hurt once the adrenalin no longer blocked the pain. But that was a cheap price to pay there.
BAM!BAM!
What Lynx would have never knew that the enemy wasn't aiming at him. Not at all.
Instead the demon assassin went for the 'Spray&Pray' option and started shooting in a random yet calculated manner.
Because of that the enemy's hands were constantly on the move. Mere tricks with posturing didn't work against Lady Luck.
While one of the bullets didn't even fly towards Lynx's directions, the other did.
It was aimed somewhat to a downward direction, just where Lynx was.
Lynx didn't take his eyes off the guns so he jerked his torso away but that was already too late.
Before he realized the bullet painfully buried into his abdomen.
Who knows what kind of damage it did? In the worst case scenario Lynx only had about a handful minutes left to live.
But he didn't falter. The adrenalin numbed his pain severely as Lynx continued towards his opponent. He was almost there.
When he arrived Lynx grabbed at the assassin's arms to spread them out while delivering his knee to the enemy's abdomen.
His planned follow-up consisted of a CQC throw which would send the assassin spinning vertially by 180 degrees until the head was the closest body part towards the ground.
That could be occurring while both Lynx and the target are temporally in the air and of course end in a loud crash headfirst to the floor.
Then using his momentum Lynx would force the enemy to the ground while twisting his arms behind his back and holding it down by his own body weight.
With his two free hands Lynx would keep the assassin at a choke hold, immediately zapping him with the electrified stun knife while with the other hand holding the modified M9 directly against the side of the oppponent's head.
Lynx already thought that far ahead.
If he succeeds then Lynx could finally start interrogating this man and hopefully find a way to escape dream world.

Another update.
I actually edited this bio in a number of small steps since then.
But now I added a few names who will frequently occur during Lynx's Codec conversations.

But from the previous generation I say Taiyou (one of Kuma's characters).

RPG » A Moonlit Revival - RP

[ RING-RING!]

LYNX: Colonel. This is Lynx. I'm in position
COLONEL: Excellent! Then I start with the briefing. This mission is classified under the name 'Operation Intrude Z808'.
COLONEL: Alternatively called 'Operation Godslayer'.
LYNX: Are you fuckin' kidding me!?
COLONEL: Unfortunately not. We've only received this information a few hours ago but a certain enigmatic group plans to use this site to resurrect their 'god', most likely a sufficiently advanced alien lfieform. We have no database on this being but our information tells it has the power to destroy the entire world!
LYNX: ... Yeah. Sounds pretty serious.
COLONEL: Indeed it is. I updated your Soliton Radar map and sent you all the information we have. The deadline is until the full moon, which means today night!
LYNX: Roger that. Just one thing, Colonel.
COLONEL: Yes?
LYNX: How many Stinger Missiles does it take to kill god? I stocked up quite a lot but I'm not sure it's going to be enough.
COLONEL: ...
COLONEL: ...
COLONEL: I sent you all the files. If there's something else you need ask Natalia, she's your operator during this mission. Your enemy are mass murderers and an army of zombies they control. I suggest the use of heavy firepower. Hurry! Stop those madmen before it's too late!
LYNX: Right on it!

Lynx stood up. He was wearing his Sneaking Suit with its coloration already changed to fit the pattern of the snowy mountains. His suit offered surprisingly good insulation and had its own temperature regulatory system. Even in the worst winters of Siberia he wouldn't need anything but this outfit. In his hands Lynx was holding a heavily customized PSG-1 sniper rifle while his four-dimensional weapon rack was filled to the brim with various heavy arms like many missile tubes, explosives,  grenade launchers, anti-material guns and even an experimental railgun. Even though the core of his mission was reconnaissance and infiltration, Lynx was ready to unleash the firepower of an entire armory if he needed to. He was also using the Lynx Eye, an eyepiece combining various sensory and data feed functions at once. One of its features even included the ability to sense magic or supernatural activities. Lynx felt confident he would complete this mission. He had to be!
With that in mind Lynx carefully descended to the valley in complete stealth, ready to find the enemy and stop them at whatever they were trying to accomplish.

Since no one else would name it I say pre-reboot Kaine (he was a demon with Izaya's style and personality granting wishes similar to Yuuko)

It didn't take long before the thick smoke screen covered the entire arena.
By that time Lynx had already assumed his position, crouching close to the ground and next to one of the pillars, the HoloCamo seemingly turning him into part of the structure.
His arms were holding the modified M9 pistol, resting in a stable position and ready to fire.
Meanwhile the special nature of the smoke and Lynx's hi-tech Sneaking Suit rendered detection via heat or a number of other sources almost completely impossible.
Lynx's set-up was simple yet flawless. With the Soliton Radar he was the only one who could be aware of the opponent's presence.
In spite of that Lynx remained vigilant. He never tried to underestimate his enemy and currently he was fighting a demon assassin with unknown magic powers.
Chances were high for something unexpected.
It happened.
The enemy hesitated for a while but not for long.
All of sudden the demon assassin started moving with purpose. Due to the thick smoke Lynx couldn't see his opponent but accurately tell his location with the Soliton Radar.
For some reason the enemy took a roundabout route, perhaps in hopes of confusing Lynx's sensors.
Regardless it was certain that Lynx' position got compromised. He had two choices:
Either to break off and fight the enemy in the open. In this case the smoke screen would cause issues for at least a few minutes.
Or wait until the enemy is about to ambush him. In such scenario both the risks and the chance of success are greater.
Lynx immediately opted for the latter.
Even though he was well aware of the enemy's location Lynx practiced self control and pretended to never notice the demon assassin creeping above him.
Like a carnivorous bird striking its prey the demon assassin began to drop down on Lynx.
Suddenly all of Lynx's muscles tensed as the special agent rolled away from the assassin's deadly path.
Lynx also made sure to leave some surprise, this time a flashbang!
Loud boom combined with blinding phosphorous light phenomenon.
Lynx wore earplugs and deliberately looked away from the source yet still suffered from minor effects.
But his opponent should be much worse off!
With almost feline agility Lynx performed a dynamic jump to land in a straightened position.
Following that he ran towards his opponent.
His left hand held his M9 while his right grabbed the stun knife with over 1000,000 volts of electricity.
It was time to subjugate his target for real.

Nah, I didn't particularly object just to highlight Eleventh made an error.
I just followed the standard when an RP-er commits a major hubris I notify them in order to corect their posts.
Almost forgot the no editing rule.
Oh well, meanwhile I already thought up the basic scenario how I will continue the fight.
At first, I thought to use some kinda BS like Altair striking a decoy but I haven't mentioned this in my bio neither told Eleventh so that'd have felt like an asspull.
So I'll definietly do something else.
