Japan has been producing alot of interesting inventions lately, tinkering from hardware to house-hold applications. The district of Akihabara is currently the example for these cool inventions, besides being "the" otaku district for anime and video games, the most prominent for its popularity is technological devices to house-hold products. It really fascinates me that every year, they produces these gadgets but yet I haven't seen these appearances on television nor website. It might be the ridiculous, invovated design for its unnecessarily features or implementation that westerners haven't have the clue for its usetage. Japan is also popular for their usetage of venting machines to sorts of stuff besides food and drinks.

Speaking of ridiculous, yet somehow cool prizes. Danny Choo reports that Nissin, famous for their cup noodles since 1971 is offering a prize for a chance to win your very own Cup Noodle venting machine!

My initial, first impressions were that its similar to a Espresso coffee machine where you add coffee and then the neccessarily condiments in it.

Here is the procedures:

  1. You add the cup noodles,
  2. Add the hot water
  3. and here comes the weird part, put the money inside the venting machine so the cup noodle comes out
  4. Open the lid
  5. Put the cup noodle in the small window so the hot water will pour into the cup noodle
  6. Get the cup noodle out and tape it so that it can cook
  7. wait for three minutes and ENJOY!
Seems easy! Heres the video demonstration!

Depending on the yen, this might considered to be worth it but then again this might be confusing or yet a weird invention. And the fact that its only Japan-exclusives.

Damnit! Which gives me another reason to go to Japan!
