Flay and that story was one of the things I actually liked about Seed. I loved how she was just a total bitch and manipulated Kira while hating him and all coordinators. Fun times.

 @cfatalis: Zeta definitely has its share of flaws, but it's stll a really good Gundam series and one of my favorites.
 
@Ryokan: You'll probably be bashed more by Macross fans for preferring Robotech than by Gundam fans.

@cfatalis: Zeta being a Gundam masterpiece: yes. Zeta being the only one: of course not.

@cfatalis:  Why not like the idea of all timelines into one? It's an anniversary series. The point is to celebrate all that was the then 20 years of gundam. Besides, it's not saying that each previous series isn't its own timeline. It's just a parallel timeline in which all the others also happened in (perhaps a timeline that had some sort of Crisis ala Crisis on Infinite Earths).
 
Besides, Gundam 00 could always have happened AFTER Turn A.

@cfatalis: So it should have a feature that wasn't introduced until almost a decade later into a franchise? Not to mention the Turn-A was never even used at full capacity, so we don't really know just what all it could do. 
 
And the setting is that it doesn't really have any of the tech from high-end gundams, all because the Turn-A destroyed it all. The Turn-A isn't super powerful because it's supposed to have EVERY technological advancement of every gundam. It's powerful because of its nanomachines which both help rebuild itself and deteriorate other forms of technology. Heck, the thing at only I think 25% is what caused the technological regression of mankind on Earth that lead to mankind being at essentially early 20th century level technology in the series.

Most of its weapons are scattered about, separated from the suit. And teleportation? Really? What Gundam before it could teleport? Just because it has more advanced tech than other Gundams doesn't mean it's going to generate every technological advancement past Gundams don't have. Should it also have a holodeck or warp flight? 
 
I personally love Turn-A Gundam, but I understand why people wouldn't like it. It's a slower series and doesn't have some of the high-energy battles that other Gundam series have. Still, it's a relaxing and entertaining series to me, and I enjoyed it.

I'm fine with people not liking 00. For liking Seed/Seed Destiny on the other hand, well that's just odd.

Was on when it launched, after Gia announced the beta on her old blog and on Japanator's old podcast.

DC is likely Director's Cut. Don't know OA, but I'm sure the O is Original. 
 
Just watch the whole series and then the movies. Don't worry about redundancy. You'll probably need it anyway.

I read random issues for what I review for the website CineGeek. I lean more towards Marvel, particularly with Spidey.

1) I prefer text. I never watch Comic Vine reviews because every time I go, its video. More often than not, I'm on my netbook, which doesn't like video.

3) Both. I guess general ones for single portions and more in-depth for the whole series.

I'm not complaining. I think Picard' diplomacy serves as a nice contrast against Kirk's forthright attitude, yet both are particularly good captains. The new cast is also interesting and has a good working dynamic that can be very analogous with the original (I'm looking at you, Data) yet stands out on their own. Plus a separating saucer section is pretty bad ass.
 
Oh, we're talking about Speed Racer? Oops.

@John_Martone: Yeah, they kinda failed at their jobs for at least the entire span of the series.

I'm a recent college graduate (does 8 months still count as recent?) with a degree in mass communications and looking for work.

Battlefield Baseball is AWESOME. Versus is great too. Haven't seen Death Trance yet though. Tak Sakaguchi is also in Kamen Rider Kabuto towards the latter half.

Silver Age doesn't count. We've had multiple crises since then rebooting continuity. Silver Age hasn't been canon for 20 years.
 
And even still, Light doesn't always use a heart attack. If a person can be killed, Light would simply need to write that.

Where did you get the idea that he can't die from a heart attack. To my knowledge, that has never been dealt with, but if his arteries get clogged by some Kryptonian lard, I'd think that would have the same effect.
 
But leaving that aside. And lets say this is early in Superman's career, before he learns to do the face vibration thing (does he even still do that?). Superman's weakness to kryptonite is public knowledge. Light would know this. He'd write down that Superman would die from radiation poisoning from kryptonite. Or magic lightning strikes him dead as Superman is weak against magic. Even if these weaknesses aren't public knowledge, Light would likely figure them out. He is the world's second best detective (first being Batman, who secretly operated through the puppets of L and Near).

I wouldn't specialize. I like pokemon of all different elements, so I'd diversify.
