Neku (Level 1)

Name: Neku Muramasa

Age: 16

Bio: Neku was born into a family filled with powerful warriors and gaurdians of his village. Somehow, even in a family filled with anomalies, Neku was weird. He was born with the ability to speak with the dead--a first in his village. However, the dead could also speak with him. As a child, Neku would ocassionally hear a sheepish yell or a cry for help. These distractions prevented him from actually doing well in his studies--both with book and sword. His anxiety and what appeared to be hallucinations made him quite a pariah in his village, despite his lighthearted outlook on life. The only place Neku could learn was in the cemetery, where he would be taught by his dead ancestors. 

The cemetery soon became Neku's real home. Sometimes he would even find himself asleep in the middle of the graveyard. Despite his calm nature, the Deathspeaker, as they called him, was feared by a myriad of villagers because of his afterlife connections. One morning after sleeping in the cemetery, Neku was surrounded by an angry mob. 

The decision was fight or flight, the former of which would be impossible, so Neku decided to run. Barely escaping the village, the Deathspeaker managed to find his way to a bustling city, where he currently works as a sword-for-hire.
