Quick question: Would it change anything if Annie could summon titans like she did when she was captured?

Battles » Attack On Titan vs FMA

@GIRUGAMESH: Lust is perhaps the weakest homunculi, she only managed to create mortal wounds on Roy,Hughes and others that would be superficial to a titan ,she never displayed the ability to "slide and dice",the spear stabs it doesn't chop.As far as I know she never displayed huge speed feats, she was unable to greatly blitz Mustang and his assistant when they are regular humans at best, whereas the Titans have been shown to intercept canon balls and catch human who used maneuver gear which made them travel several meters in a matter of seconds, which is faster then what most homunculis including lust have displayed.Sloth is the fastest homunculi, but he is incapable of controlling himself,he justs goes launching himself as a supersonic cannon ball  and he needs a fair amount of distance before launches himself as evidenced with his fight with Armstrong.

The tank shell chop was non-canon.

I do agree on Pride.Envy and Guttony, they win.

I think Eren and Annie would just kill everyone repetitively, they have regeneration and casual building level destruction feats. They could take Sloth,Lust,Gluttony and Envy at the very least which have not displayed superior speed or strength.

Wrath, Pride and Greed  would take out Levi and Mikasa and probably Eren.

So it comes down to King Bradley vs Annie, which I see Annie winning.

1-THE ,SO-CALLED "DARK" DOCTOR

Trust me I love Doctor Who,but isn't a lot of the Doctor moral ambiguity in his acts... seem like it is not at all morally ambiguous?
For example, when Ten saves everyone on the Waters Of Mars and says he is Timelord Victorious,we are suppose to believe he is becoming EVIL when all he really did was pull a Marty McFly and prevent unneeded deaths(like Adelaide who could as he said just inspire her granddaughter alive),the fact that he wants and does wipe out Daleks is portrayed as wrong in Journey's end when he dumps Meta-Crisis on Rose...except for the fact that they are genocidal space Nazis that all without exception want to exterminate innocents. We are meant to see the War Doctor as a monster when he prevented the Time Vortex from being destroyed by killing the Timelords who wanted to commit genocide on a universal scale.

I have no problem with a hero that isn't a Light Yagami,a Walter Whiter or a Dexter. But the Who writers desperately want to convince that  the Doc is repressing that needs his companions when a lot of his acts just fall  into Designated Evil.

2-Timey-Wimey

Didn't the Time Of The Doctor create a paradox by not having the Doctor die definitively on Trenzalore ? Clara pretty much saves the Doctor because she knows he's going to die because she has been to his grave with him and if he doesn't die she couldn't have been to his grave,a principle already explained in "The Angels in Manhattan",i.e. can't change the past using future information from the current time line.It seems the show plays a very strange game with changing time. One second you can't like when you save Rose's dad,but after in Journey To The Centre Of The Tardis or in the Christmas special from 2012,you can.
What the fuck happened to the Reapers and time collapsing on itself?

Just Anime » Hello!Any Anime to recommend?

I am MrAssh0le( as the profile name says)I just got done with Dexter and I am halfway through the last season of Breaking Bad,I haven't been watching a lot of anime lately aside from Attack On Titan, which I just finished.I have been reading manga like Drifters and Zetman.Could anyone recommend me anime that is 30-40 episodes.Preferably,dark-action based .

Here's a list of anime I watched if it is any help.

1. Death Note

I love this anime it is my favorite of all time.I love Light's sociopathic nature and how he tricked the investigator that was following him into writing the names of all the other investigators in the Death Note.I love how L tricked Kira into giving him his location. If there is one thing I detest about this TV series is the fact L wasn't the one to defeat Light.Having Near beat Light was completely dumb.I mean if you are gonna get rid of L why replace him by a character that is exactly like him it is ridiculous, all it does is make Near look like a cheap rip-off. Now enough ranting. I love how L holds all the object he has and he sits in his chair.L being my favorite character I was pretty sad when Light killed him especially he had told him he was his friend and that he was smiling at him as he was those are moments like that that make great TV.

2. Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion

Lelouch is a very devilish and charismatic character.Suzaku is an annoying hypocrite but by the end of the serie he actually becomes a bad-ass.It would probably be number 1 if someone hadn't spoiled the ending for me.The show had a very beautiful ending.

3. Baccano!

Love the gangster noir style, the confusing time-lines and Claire Stanfield is frickin' Chuck Norris!

4. Fullmetal Alchemist

This one of the only animes i have watched where I genuinely felt sad at times.Hughes dying,Winry being separated from Ed and Al at the end of the first movie, the daughter of Crocker being turned into a chimera and Greed dying. They were also moments were I felt extremely happy like when Winry and Ed have kids at the end of the Brotherhood series, the future kids ova,Ed and Al being reunited in the movie,Ed sacrificing his alchemy to triumph over the Truth and take back Alphonse.I loved how Edward wasn't just the typical shonen hero,he was actually smart,he actually had other emotions then hunger, determination and envy for fraternity. The openings also have great music. This applies to both series I think I like both somewhat equally. The movie was great by the way and I am looking forward to the brotherhood. It is as show that I recommend watching in English.I REALLY don't like Ed's voice in japanese

5. Elfen Lied

Heartfelt and BRUTAL!

6. Angel Beats!

Didn't like the first 5 episodes but I have learned to look beyond the fact that it takes place in a High School.Although, some things like them implying Angel could obliterate people in the first episode and the time Otonashi asked for her join the first time when she was never showed to do that and the fact that the SSS continued to exist after "defeating" Angel annoyed me plus the fact that Angel doesn't disappear even know she's a model student. What is good about this series is the heartfelt moments with Otonashi,Yuripee and others in the second part also the music is most likely the best I heard in an anime.

7. Naruto

I like Naruto how he has matured as a character during the time-skip,he used to be this annoying kid that simply wanted to be an Hokage now he is to a point where he has impacted several peoples.Sasuke ,Naruto,Sakura and Sai have all changed and grown as the story progressed.I like the fights too and the usage of strategy in them.Bleach and DBZ don't make the same usage of strategy in battle that Naruto does.Plus I like the character design .

8. Deadman Wonderland

The manga Cool fights nice story development however it kind of gets tacky at times with Shiro being a big kid.And Ganta always feeling weak.

9. Steins;Gate
10. Avatar: The Last Airbender

Battles » Eren Jaeger ( Shingeki no Kyojin) vs Orochimaru ( Naruto)

Orochimaru summons Mamba and equals Eren 's size advantage. Then he disposes of him through summoning the Hokages through Edo Tensei to immobilize him and then he slices the nape of his neck through other jutsus.

Off-Topic » Rap Makes You Dumber??

I recently stumbled upon this article which tries to make the case that purely instrumental music is correlated with high intelligence and which also says that vocal music (including rap) is correlated with lower intelligence.I though I’d bring up this article because of the recurring stereotype of rap fans not being bright and classical music fans being more intelligent.

I could see two problems from just reading the article. For one the researcher, Satoshi Kanazawa (which by the way can also be credited for attributing objective ugliness to black woman and low IQ to Africans as the cause of their despair),as stated big band music chows a higher correlation to high IQ then classical however ,based on his premise that vocal music is more highly correlated with IQ, it should be the other way around since big band is a more vocal genre then classical is.

Also this study does not use an IQ test, it uses a verbal a intelligence test based on 10 questions. Not only do we not know exactly what the correlation is between the tests. But we also ignore an important fact which is that music training is correlated with an increase in verbal intelligence .Which is important since people which have learned how to play a certain instrument would surely have a certain bias towards more instrumental genres.

What do you guys think of this?
