Hey, rise your hand if you ever seen a show about a guy going to a girl only school and, get this, his childhood friend is here to spice up the moment. Hey their even sharing the same room together, get ready for some crazy antics. Ok, that pretty much how the first episode want of IS as the usual situations goes in anime but there is little more to it than that. The world of IS has these armed powered exoskeleton "Infinite Stratos", that enable the user to have powers, with the most commen one being flight. So far these suits had only been used by women till our main man, Orimura Ichika (Uchiyama, Kouki), got in to one by mistake. Impress to see a male using the suit, his sister, Chifuyu Orimura (Toyoguchi, Megumi), forced him to join the training school to better his skills. Also from what I read the backstories of each girls are pretty interesting and if they can tell it well in the anime than this wont be too bad like the childhood friend, Houki Sinonono (Hikasa, Youko) or the English transfer student, Cecilia Alcott (Yukana). There was a short action scene at the beginning of the first episode that some nice fight choreography so I expect some nice fights in later episodes and not just silly antics.  Visually the anime looks pretty good with character designs that look interesting while not being too crazy (Drill hair Blondy is cutting it close but still) and the CG parts with the suits do look good.

This anime could be good along as it does't go too heavy on the usual boy in a school of girls jokes.

Why is most of Hikasa roles have similar features?
