For FF8 fans, an interesting theory on the game's story http://squallsdead.com/

My obligatory list of animes I've completed
I usually watch my anime in bundles, but when I've got a good interest in one I'll wait weekly for them.  As I reminisce on some, I really wonder why I invested the time to finish some of these.  Currently not finished, updating when I'm bored.
1. One Piece

One word: GLORIOUS! I love the characters, their interactions, the places they visit, the odd-powers, the routine gags, the music, and on and on. Even the fillers are great to watch cuz there's always some funny moments. To be honest I picked this up about 2 or 3 years ago when the anime was in the middle of the Enies arc and I watched a marathon 300 episodes in about a month. And I haven't watched an episode since. You see, I'm waiting till I can amass another 100 episodes and laugh my ass off for a few weeks. If I was to be marooned on a deserted island with one show, this would most definitely be it.

2. Baccano!

I knew I'd love this series as soon as Isaac and Miria go in to rob that store and that sweet music blares in the OP. Even though it's a short series by standards, the characters are all memorable and the intertwining plotlines satisfy your thirst to know wtf happened.

3. Fate/stay night

I had no idea this was adapted from a visual novel before I watched it and was close to dropping it because of the horrible pacing. Yet I was intrigued enough by the role of heroes and mythical figures that I stuck through it and I'm so glad I did. Now if I could only get my bootcamp running properly so I could finally try my hand at the visual novel.

4. Black Lagoon

You had me at "I fucked you", but you almost lost me with those crazy twins, then you got me back with a lot of will they/won't they sexual tension and of course, GUNS.

5. Love Hina

My first harem show, Keitaro you lucky and inept bastard. That is all.

6. Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi

I was reminded that I watched this after reading Sonata's list lol. I don't even remember the plot, but I have a notion it was a fun watch.

7. Bamboo Blade

I used to practice kendo myself back in my teenage years so this series easily interested me. And if anyones interested, yes it was a sweat drenching experience. I'd order a new shinai (bamboo sword) and the handle would be black with my sweat in a week. Ugh, and washing that uniform was a pain too. But I did enjoy practice while it lasted.

8. Dennou Coil

I think I might be the only person that watched this series. Never hear too much fanfare or even mention. Well, it wasn't that good I suppose, but I liked the adventure in a slice of life/modern setting. Had me wondering what life as a kid would be like with their fun gadgets and technology.

9. Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion

Is it possible to imagine what this would have looked like w/out CLAMP character designs?

10. When They Cry - Higurashi

Paranoid serial killer lolis FTW! And for the love of all that's holy don't be cute enough to take home.

11. True Tears

M/M M/F M/F/F M/M/F Twins/Siblings/S&M jk...It's pure melodrama...

12. Big Windup!

Being a baseball fan I picked this up quick. What I enjoyed most was it's realistic (as possible) take on high school baeball. It's not a one man team show, it goes in depth into a pitcher and catcher relationship, and fills in comedy between the dramatic plays and moments. I'm sure the yaoi fangirls love it for differing reasons =P

13. Rental Magica

What was this show about? I watch and I forget...

14. Minami-Ke

If Haruka was walking down the street I would propose to her. If Kana was walking down the street I'd make sure to tackle her hard. If Chiaki was walking down the street I'd kidnap her.

15. Ga-Rei Zero

A tragedy as in the story and it's disappointing protagonist. I could never get interested in "what's her name" and dismissed the normal series, but Ga-Rei Zero is a look back and Yomi was a well made tragic heroine. Sadly my only reason for watching this short series.
