Tavi had managed to slow down the vicious beast with her powerful sedatives. Taylor continued to be persistent to Tavi hoping she would accept his apology. Placing a disk in her pocket that he claimed to have valuable information pertaining to FABLE; Tavi still found him quite annoying, and never accepted anything from him. Being true to her word she fired multiple armor piercing rounds at Taylor aimed at his chest and head. Suddenly the beast quickly got back to his feet. Tavi was surprised that he recovered “Damn he must have the ability to adapt.” In a fit of rage the monster tossed Tavi’s motorcycle Shift like a ragdoll into a nearby wall. Shift kept his firm grip even though he only sustained mild damage, then attempting to crush Tavi jumped backwards towards the ground. Tavi using her quick thinking and agility to jump off his back in time; however the disc that Taylor gave her fell out her pocket and was crushed by the Chimera. Tavi stood up but took a hard kick by the chimera causing her to fly backward, rolling across the floor Tavi shook out the cobweb as she got up on her feet once more. The Chimera was inching closer to her, dragging Shift along at the same time. Not wasting much time she pulled out one of her pistols and loaded it with a programmable ricochet clip. Tavi began to attack back the Chimera, using her advanced Martial Arts Powess, while also setting a course for her bullet with her mind. Tavi launched devastating haymakers at the beast in an attempted to daze him. Pulling a special grenade with a small sensor embedded within she attempted to stuff the explosive inside the beasts throat. Tavi then fired one bullet behind the monster’s ear; The bullet began to ricochet at the precise geometry Tavi had set in place. Bouncing of the steel and concrete increasing win speed in the blink of an eye, then aimed for the small hole already there by the sedative needle, If successful the bullet will drive through the chimera’s spinal column and travel upward towards the grenade ripping through whatever is in its way. The Final result….Some dirty Fireworks.
@Jlynnana: Great, I'll post in the episode 1 thread tomorrow, it will be a long one lol. Then I'll make the OOC for episode 2, got most of it figured out.
Awesome, we need to get going again. On Screened as well. I'm thinking about having a mod lock all the RPG's we have going on, with the exeception of The Carter.
I agree, I need to head over there as well. The Carter with be a great place to build up our characters.:)
Cat rushed through some of the brush and came to a stop behind one of the trees to catch his breath. “Man, I should have taken my rehab more seriously than spend most of hitting on the pretty nurses…nah!” Cat thought to himself with a sly grin. Soon he got an incoming message from Red who was still back at the sub. Speaking in her usual French accent she spoke to Cat and Tavi through the FABLE psychic network. “Cat, Tavi, listen up I have just received word from Storyteller that we need to report to Telos City immediately, it’s a red alert. I’ll come by to pick the both of you up, with in thirty seconds be ready Red Out.” Back at the sub Red started the transformation sequence; the small sub coated with the first generation solomite adaptive technology began to change into a small mini jet. As it rose above the island and blasted forth towards Tavi and Cat’s location.
Meanwhile Tavi was about to battle one of the insane twins. After hearing through the link that they were needed elsewhere, Tavi’s tactics were more defensive than offensive. After analyzing their attacks in the exchange she calculated a potential three thousand ways in which they would attack. After placing temperature, humidity, air currents and the psychological state of the attackers she was able to trim the list considerably. Tavi adjusted several dials on her Solomite staff, maintaining her steely resolve she got into a unique defensive stance. Able to parry the first wave attack with excellent precision do to her marvelous perception and anticipation. Tavi did a variety of somersaults back towards the forest, and while her stealth suit placed a small gas mask around her nose and mouth. Out of the ends of her staff a stream of strong tear gas pellets feel towards the ground. Once they hit the ground they exploded immediately causing a heavy fog of Greens to cover the area. Tavi used this opportunity to reach Cat, and right schedule Red was hovering above them. “Cat grab on to me.” Cat quickly grabbed onto Tavi as she used the extension feature on her staff as an elevator to reach the hovering Jet, The duo stepped inside the Jet as Red punched it setting a course for their new objective in Telos City.
Manami continued to listen to Stephanie’s story learning that she also had a daughter in her own universe. Manami could understand how she feels the, job she does is to help protect her daughter and everyone else on the planet. She was actually trying to spend what little time she could with Bobbi Lee today, but fate played a hand in their lives once again with Stephanie’s arrival. However Manami kept a strong poker face before Stephanie, not letting her know she fully understood what she was going through. It took a while, but Stephanie finally remembered the reason she came her for by enthusiastically slamming her hand into the table. “The Eye of Horus” Manami had been out of the loop, due to taking a brief leave of absence to rest up. Trish started to fill her in, “Mana I know you haven’t been informed about the Eye of Horus , but he what we gathered so far. The Eye of Horus is a stone that landed in south central asia. Our sensors have detected high levels of energy from it, and as expected several meta-human hostiles have gathered there to try and retrieve the stone.”
It didn’t take long for Stephanie to start questioning Manami and Trish, wanting to know who they really were. Manami had smile on her face, fully realizing that Stephanie would start to ask questions. Then Manami said to her “Let’s be perfectly clear I trust you she then pointed her finger at her, and continued to speak, “I don’t trust your friend or the other person that is coming as well. However you have been a big help so I will give you the answers you want, you may not like it though.” Trish entered the room and pulled up a chair next to Manami and across from Stephanie. Trish and I are former U.S. Military, and now are part of a six government Special Forces unit called FABLE. Our main mission is to protect the world from potential meta-human hostiles, and other threats around the globe. Not even President knows our true identities.” Trish butted in and said to Stephanie, “Basically you and Ziccara are the reason we are around, but this Eye of Horus is bigger than all of us. Trish handed over her tablet to Stephanie to let her look at what she found then she explained it to her. “I have located your friend, by cross- referencing your vibration frequencies, and using a global search to find a match. Once I found a match I hacked into every cell-phone, surveillance camera, and computer in the area. She is with a man named Crow Cementerio, a bounty hunter five to ten miles Northeast of Jewel’s Bar. Mana and I are going after the Eye of Horus, and FABLE intends to keep the rock, finders keepers and all that jazz.”
