Well I was doing a little research online and looking at age demographic for sales ending June 2009 and found a few interesting things out. Below is a list of the top 4 manga's for each age group I thought more appropriate for this website and to see if you can agree with them, what amazed me was the difference in manga titles, male readers aged between 10 - 20 bought just enough D.man Gray so it could get the number 9 spot on the top ten but women of the same age group have it as a number 3. I was also over the moon to see Hunter X Hunter make it into my age group as it is one of my top twenty Manga to read at the moment. I also thought this would help if anyone is looking for a new Manga to read as some of the titles you on the list may seem fairly obvious but you have never thought of picking them up. What else is there to say One Piece dominated in all of the male groups holding the number one spot all the way to the 50 - 60's readers? Also a strange occurrence was Bleach dropping of the top 4 in the 20 - 30's true there is a lull in time between us getting our hand's on the titles and the Japanese release dates! But I thought it would have been higher in that group. The female titles where also very different from what I thought it would be there is some great stories in there such as Kimi ni Todoke and NANA but then out of nowhere that shocking little Pirate and his team make a reappearance at number 3 in the women's 20 -30.
