I was wondering if anyone has stumbled upon some SERIOUS martial arts anime, I'd like to see more where there are no special moves being called out, although Kenichi: Mightiest Disciple was still good..
 
Samurai stuff counts, but I've seen most of that too..
 
Oh, and anything popular in the last 3 years I've probably seen or heard of.. I need to go off the grid to get something new I may enjoy.

So far I like it, but I think the japanese are dumbing down his strength just a little...
At the end of episode 1 he fights a master swordsman with wooden swords, and is knocked around like a rag doll..
How it should have gone?
Wolverine should have stood there, had the sword BREAK on his face, then asked if the old man is done yet, then take what he was after and leave...
It was an honor thing, so no claws allowed.

Starts off really Cool, then gets into the romantic nitty gritty..

If they did a few more with Lee and Neji it would be ok, they need more screen time.. tenten too.\
Other than that, I agree.. the fillers suck.

Desert Punk, hands down.   And everyone else said Cowboy Bebop already, because it IS really done well, including the movie..

Air gear has a censored and uncensored version! That I know for sure.

@SSJjanemba: I agree, as with Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, I thought Dragon ball Kai was going to start the same, and separate the story into its own arc... I was disappointed, but it gives me a reason to watch the Japanese dragon ball Z, and with no junk.

Not to mention, Akira Toriyama, made most of the first season nearly all by himself.
