A Little About KuroNekoXIII

Well I'm just your average dude....nothin' really special :P

I'm currently a post-secondary science student, passionate about my studies, yet still unsure what I'll do with it. Although I am a science-type guy, I have a passion for story-writing; which is mainly inspired by novels, nature, songs, manga, and anime.

KuroNekoXIII's Anime/Manga Life

Without really noticing, I've actually been into anime for a pretty long time....lol....but I had no idea it was "anime". Take DBZ for instance; that was one of my favorite shows growing up, but I had no idea it was Japanese ^_^'

I've practically went through all of the fads out there...from DBZ to Beyblade to Pokemon to Digimon....and the list goes on and on. I've just recently started to get really into anime (probably 4 years ago), when I got introduced to Naruto. After that, anime became practically the only thing I watch that I actually enjoy.

I can watch any genre out there, with the exception of hentai, yuri/yaoi....that stuff just grosses me out beyond belief.

Currently, I'm really into Sket Dance. It's an amazing anime, one of the best I ever watched. If you're into comedy / school-life and a little bit of the troubles of life, you should definitely check it out.

Music Taste

My taste in music is as vast as my taste in anime. 85% of the music I listen to are instrumentals, i.e. no vocals. These are mainly from anime OSTs and movie OSTs.

I listen to Japanese music more than any other type of music out there - mainly J-pop and J-rock, with the odd cases of J-rap. Most of these Japanese songs were introduced to me through the anime ending and opening themes.

• Home Made 家族 ( by far my favourite Japanese band, since I can relate to all their songs, and the instrumentals and vocals are great. Their music is always on replay on my ipod )
• Aqua Timez (amazing instrumentals and meaningful lyrics; comes close to Home Made 家族 )
• Flow (catchy instrumentals and vocals)
• Supercell (band that sings the opening theme of Guilty Crown)
• Marina Inoue: I like her voice, and especially ending theme for Ginban Kaleidoscope.

• Yui: I like her song, "AGAIN" (the opening theme for Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood)
