Aestus was searching for clues about the Sponsio Ex Custodis, and so he was searching powerful warriors, since the Mark of Lucel only touched powerful beings, persons that are exceptional, and according to the inforamtion he could gather in this ruined country, destroyed after a event called The Sunrise, Aestus thought to investigate that a little bit more deeply, since a disater of that magnitude wasnt something good. The city he was right now was Tokyo, the capital city of a country called Japan, the city was in ruins and the lawless criminals were attacking anybody with provisions, Aestus had to fend off a group that tried to attack a family that was leaving a temple, the young Magus beated the criminals with his lance.
His clothes got torned by one of the criminals weapon, so the family he saved gaved him some clothes, seemingly the clothes were of the family elder son, that die in th Sunrise, it was some sort of uniform, and Aestus accepted it while bowing, it seemed that in this country that sign of courtesy was customary. He separated from the family, and went towards the meeting point in which he was going to meet of one of the most powerful warriors in this country, a Samurai, some sort of Knight just like him, but with some difference, he didnt knew what to expect, when he said the man name, the general population shivered in fear, but the information he got said that this man wasnt evil, at least not in the open, and that made Aestus only more curious.
He waited in a rundown temple for Kyo to come, but only an hour, and some minor fight with scavengers, after the duel time, was the time when the red-eyed swordsman appeared. Aestus didnt felt the Sponsio in him, but it could be latent, he would need to fight against him to see if he had the mark, he could ask, but for the looks of it Kyo didnt seemed in mood for questions "I heard you're looking for strong people to fight." Said the swordsman as he unsheated his blade "I'm Demon Eyes Kyo. Search no longer." Kyo took a stance, waiting 50 yards away from the Magus, the Demon eyed man was grinning, he seemed of the type of person that enjoys fighting, Aestus didnt liked that, he was taught that being battle-hungry only leads to a state of sadness. Trying to introduce himself would be foolish
Okay, I'm ready, replied Aestus while summoning his spear as he started walking towards Kyo, and suddenly increasing his speed, and with a small detonation he threw a burst of flames throught the end of his lance, using the powerful detonation to impulse his stab, he made his spear, now engulfed in flames, spin in his hand, creating a drill-like effect, piercing the air, and aiming to finish his movements behind Kyo, stabbing or slashing and moving besides his opponent, to blast him in the back, since as he was flying towards Kyo he started casting Deflagro Ignis!, saying half of the incantation to decide what spell to use when he landed, or if he was blocked. Aestus didnt liked to be the first to attack, but he remembered his mentor teaching about the battle-crazy warriors, "Attack first and dont let them trap you in their rythm"
