Riruka Dokugamine » Riruka Inside Rukia

M'kay, first off: I apologize for reminding you of this character and the arc she's associated with. Secondly: I do not intend this to be sexually oriented, so please, if your brain takes it that way, please keep it to yourself.

Now, with that out of the way, I have a minor question.

At the end of Rirukia and Rukia's battle, near the end of the Fullbringer arc, Riruka uses her powers to place herself inside Rukia, popping out again later on to block an attack from Tsukishima. Now, Riruka's powers work only on things she 'loves' or finds cute. These things she can permit people within, such as placing a person within a doll, or a dollhouse, presumably herself included. So wouldn't the fact that she could place herself inside Rukia mean she finds Rukia 'cute'? Minor question, no real meaning. Just thought of it while watching the latest Bleach episode and thought I'd get some alternative opinions on it.

Battles » Wolverine vs Hulk

@Goku1fan: I'm probably still too new to weigh in an adequate opinion on this, but I have to agree with Mr. Hao and Mr. DesKnight. Between you, Wizardboy, and Tronboy, I have not seen a great deal many decent battle threads. Unlike Tronboy and Wizardboy however, you at least provide some exposition on your fights, which I appreciate, but that does little to change the fact that your battles are not generally up for debate, or matching the criteria I'm aware of for the battles. Generally, the battles you make are one sided at best, a total spite at worst.

Again, I'm still relatively new, so perhaps I'm not the best to weigh in on this decision. Thought I'd put forward my own two cents though.

Battles » World Breaker Hulk vs Goku

@MisterShin: Pretty much anything that isn't based in pure martial arts. Energy manipulation, flight, ki blasts, etc. All shut down. This is a perfectly normal fight between a fur covered alien monkey martial artist versus a giant green skinned bipolar gladiator. So for once since Dragon Ball, Goku has to rely on his martial arts skills instead of "NEED MORE DAKKA." I am allowing a Kaioken if desperate. Even with that condition though, it appears I've accidentally made a spite, going by the above comments.

Battles » World Breaker Hulk vs Goku

@Newdeath: Hm... I'm curious if Goku would stand a better chance if I allowed a Kaioken x20? From what you, and a few other of the commenters have said, I appear to have accidentally made a spite battle. Which disgusts me, especially since it's only my second battle thread.

Battles » World Breaker Hulk vs Goku

World Breaker Hulk versus Super Saiyan 4 Goku. Speed equalized, Goku cannot use most of his techniques, such as energy blasts, Kamehamaha, flight, etc. Will allow a Kaioken if desperate. It's a battle of strength and martial arts skill. Hulk is at his strongest in this incarnation, three steps to destroy the entire Eastern Seaboard. I hope nerfing Goku to this degree will make it more even.

Battles » Sasuke vs Neji (read op)

@The Stegman: Ah, thanks. In that case, I'm going to give it to Sasuke by a small margin. The speed he obtained during the month between was specifically designed to replicate Rock Lee's style of movement and combat, which in turn was designed to defeat Neji. While Sasuke isn't as powerful or as fast as Lee by a long shot, he's still faster than the eye can see for brief periods of time. While Neji can use his Rotation to block Sasuke's attacks, Sasuke's smart, he has the Sharingan, and he has ninjutsu to compliment the taijutsu. With the Sharingan allowing him to see Neji's movements and presumably react even faster due to his training, thus attacking before Neji can pull off the Rotation, Sasuke should be able to land a few fatal strikes and dodge Neji's attacks.

Battles » Sasuke vs Neji (read op)

@The Stegman: I apologize if this is obvious and I'm missing it, but I don't know which you mean by 'round two level': Do you mean the Forest of Death round, or the round in the Arena? I'd assumed Forest of Death at first but the picture for Sasuke got me mixed up. Clarify?

Battles » X-men(newest version) vs Teen Titans

@Goku1fan: Thanks. Going to have to go with the X-Men though. While the Titans have a wide, and debatably more impressive, variety of powers, the X-Men shown have more experience working together. Beast could go claw to boot with Cyborg (the robot dude), if not outright surpass him in technological prowess. Wolverine could butcher Beast Boy (the green guy). The only two who would give the X-Men any trouble would be Starfire and Raven. With Starfire's energy projection and Raven's telekinesis, it would probably take be tricky to bring them down. However, sooner or later they'd fall. Robin's good, and would probably get a few good hits in, but even if he is trained by Batman, I can't see him winning this.

Then again, since it's first blood, maybe Cyborg could solo. If they can't make him bleed, they can't claim victory. And there's not much of him left to bleed.

But I'm going off the animated series from when I was younger, the roster you appear to have used. Their actual powers in the comics could be drastically more powerful. But I'm not an expert on those, so I'll hold the side of the X-Men til such an expert arrives to disprove it.

Battles » X-men(newest version) vs Teen Titans

@Goku1fan: Perhaps I'm just not seeing the picture, but I see no picture for the Teen Titans. So I have no indication of the roster for them. State it, would you kindly?

Battles » X-men(newest version) vs Teen Titans

@Goku1fan: As far as I know, there have been several different rosters and versions of the Titans. What's the roster you're using for this fight?

Mind explaining which iteration of the Titans is being used?

Battles » Goku(from GT) vs Kid Buu

Buu regenerates until kid Goku runs out of gas. Without Super Saiyan 4, he really doesn't stand a chance.

Battles » Vergil vs Samurai Jack

I'm going to say that Vergil takes this with ease. I remember Samurai Jack, but I can't think of anything that would necessarily put him on the same level as Vergil.

Battles » Magneto(from X-men) vs Dr.Doom(Fantastic Four)

Unless I'm mistaken, Doom has a brain deficiency right now and thus isn't up to his usual standards. So Magneto pummels him.

General Discussion » What could Tobi's space/time ninjutsu be? Where's it from?

@sickVisionz: I think it was said, or at least theorized in canon, that Tobi's intangibility works by him sending parts of his body away and then instantly bringing them back, which admittedly doesn't make ANY sense, but that's what the author gave us.

General Discussion » What could Tobi's space/time ninjutsu be? Where's it from?

I'm not going to say it's more advanced so much as it is a variation of Kakashi's Kamui. Similar in concept and appearance, but vastly more powerful in application and apparently significantly less of a chakra drain. I'm fairly certain it's a fourth jutsu specific to the Mangekyo, since the only other person shown displaying anything on a similar level was, as mentioned, Kakashi's Kamui. However, it appears that only certain users of the Mangekyo can use it, as Itachi wasn't shown doing so, and I'd like to say he's considered the de facto master of the Mangekyo amongst the fanbase. So perhaps only those who have had the Mangekyo transferred into them can use that specific jutsu. Considering Tobi's apparent ability to transplant his dojutsu without harm or disabling himself, if his claim of the Rinnegan being his to begin with is accurate, this would not be entirely impossible.

Off-Topic » Theism vs Atheism

@GhostRider29: I apologize, that was all really important and I appreciate you sending out that message to everyone else, but I find it really funny that with that whole message, your chosen username is that of a dude who sold his soul to a classical devil and more or less goes out and kills people. xD

Off-Topic » Theism vs Atheism

I subscribe to the theory that while there may be some afterlife of some sort out there for people, it is most likely not ruled by any being. Or if it is, it is very likely no different from this world, and who or whatever rules it is does so via a system of government or simply because they are so powerful that none can stand against them. I suppose that would be the closest thing to what one would call God.

I have no prejudice against those who believe in an absolute deity, no matter what they call it, God, Allah, etc. I would however like to discuss in detail the nature and reasoning behind those beliefs with an individual of such solid belief, out of curiosity as to the direct reasoning behind this belief. While I understand that if you could reason it out, it wouldn't need to be called belief, I would still like to discuss it. While Mr. Galford above appears to be such an individual, I have no desire to read or butt into a conversation that isn't mine. So if anyone wishes to discuss such a thing, by all means, let me know!

In regards to those I DO have prejudice against, that is mainly isolated to those who use their religion to condemn others, such as saying someone is going to Hell or treating someone unfairly because they do not agree with ones religions.

So to summarize: Possible afterlife, not all that different from here if it exists. Non hostile religion = Good. Condemning Religion = Bad. Capiche?

Battles » ASURA vs KRATOS

@Hellos said:

Out of curiosity do you even have anything outside text that shows Atlas can lift the entire planet? Because Kratos regularly struggled to physically accomplish much less impressive feats, his best being pulling the puzzle through layers of Olympus to the top. Asura is preventing a multi mountain range finger from crushing him and proceeds to vaporize something as large as the Earth with physical force all on it's lonesome.

He didn't just shatter him, he lit him up like a Christmas tree and Wyzen proceeded to explode violently; that was just hitting his finger. Kratos regularly struggled with less and had no where near that kind of punching power, even powered on hope.

Blade of Olympus isn't required to kill pantheons given in GOW3 Kratos was snapping their knecks, tearing the heads off, poking his fingers into their skulls and dropping statues on them to end these gods effortlessly. Hercules gave Kratos a better fight than they for the most part did. It ending a way doesn't hold much water. Now blowing something the size of Earth to bits with one punch on the other hand is much better, as is tanking a moon to Earth extendo sword to the gut, which is a bit more impressive than Kratos kicking the bucket from falling off a mountain or having a sword plunged into his torso.

Asura should stomp this into infinity and beyond.

Thanks for stating these points so overtly. I attempted to argue Mr. Justa via his own paths of logic, while making the same points, and that appeared to not be working as well as I might have hoped.
