InfiniteGeass (Level 12)

Highschool of the Dead is the junk food of anime and manga. You can still enjoy it even though you know it's bad for you.

This is all based off of the first episode of each of these shows.

What I liked:
  • Yay boobs!
  • Decent action scenes
  • Interesting idea of the females fighting, but having to choose an underclassmen boy to fully use their powers or something.
What I didn't like
  • There is only one major male character so far, the rest a well endowed females, but as I've said I do like boobs, so it's not all bad.
  • I haven't watched much of Evangelion Genesis, but the Novas seem really similar to the angels

What I liked:
  • It's a mystery anime, which I personally haven't seen too many of.
  • Victorique is very adorable in some of the ways she acts.
  • It takes place in a setting you don't really see too much in anime.
What I disliked:
  • The first mystery wasn't all that complex or hard to figure out, hopefully they get more complex and interesting.

Kore wa Zombie Desu ka?

  •  Aikawa is not your typical zombie
  • The necromancer who only communicates buy writing stuff on a notepad
  • The magical girl who loses her powers makes a great entrance.
  • Aikawa turning into a cross dressing magical girl is pretty great.
What I disliked:
  • That it ended.

Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica

 What I liked:
  • The craziness that happened in the beginning and toward the end of the show in crazy world.
  • Akemi and Mami haven't exactly explained who they are, so that's interesting.
  • Kyubey is kind of cute for a rabbit, squirrel  thing.
  • They live in a world where everything is made out of glass or is a touchscreen. Why isn't our world future world looking like that yet?
What I disliked:
  • It started off pretty slow after the first craziness with flying buildings.
  • It felt weird watching what I'm assuming are middle school students in those small shorts.
  • For some reason their eyes kind of freak me out.
My favorite out of these is definitely Kore wa Zombie Desu ka? If you're going to watch one show this season, so far I would suggest that one. I might add pictures to this later to make it look prettier, but not right now. I think I'm gonna go to sleep now. Bye bye, and thanks for reading.

My Little Sister Can't be this Cute!

Kyōsuke Kōsaka, a normal seventeen-year-old high school student, has not gotten along with his younger sister Kirino in years. For longer than he can remember, Kirino has ignored his comings and goings and looked at him with spurning eyes. It seemed as if the relationship between Kyōsuke and his sister, now fourteen, would continue this way forever. One day however, Kyōsuke finds a DVD case of a magical girl anime entitled Hoshikuzu Witch Meruru ( 星くず☆うぃっちメルル , Stardust Witch Meruru) which had fallen in his house's entrance way. To Kyōsuke's surprise, inside the case is a hidden adult video game titled Imōto to Koishiyo! ( 妹と恋しよっ♪ , Let's Fall in Love with Little Sister!). Kyōsuke attempts to fish out the culprit who dropped the case by bringing up the topic of magical girl anime at the family dinner table. All that comes out is a strong negative reaction from his parents, especially his anti- otaku policeman father.

That night, Kirino bursts into Kyōsuke's room and, in perhaps the first conversation she has initiated with him in years, says they "have things to talk about." Kirino brings Kyōsuke to her room and shows him an extensive collection of moe anime and lolicon bishōjo games she has been collecting in secret.

It sounds pretty interesting to me at least and I hope it's good. Maybe I'll find something else good to watch this fall too.

  • Kotomi is my favorite character from the first season.
  • I'm somewhat disappointed didn't see more of the other characters from the first season in After Story, but also understand that it needs to focus more on Nagisa and Tomoya.
  • After Story is much more serious and emotional than the first season, which is a good thing.
  • The comedy that is mostly in the first season is really funny.
  • I really enjoyed that most of the characters eventually got their past revealed.
  • I cried somewhat on some of the episode. Very much so on episode 18 of After Story.
  • After Story is sad and depressing.
  • The Dango  Daikazoku  song is both sad and happy:

That's all for now. I may post some more thoughts though if they pop up in my head.

The second episode of the Halo anime was released to day and I was pretty impressed by it. I might be a bit bias though, since I really like the Halo story, but the art styles in this episode was really nice looking and I really dug the music. The story was pretty interesting too, following a former Arbiter from a thousand years ago.
This episode uses a water color style.
