Hello. I'm a big fan of the Sailor Moon Franchise. The Sailor Moon anime is a good deal weaker then the Manga verse but I decided to see how powerful the Anime Verse was and it's stronger then most people seem to think. So I will be going through all 200 episodes and all the movies and feat-checking putting down everything signifigant I can find on every Senshi, signifigant Ally to the Senshi, Villains or Monster of the Week.

Introduction to metaphysics in the Sailor Moon Universe: In the Sailor Moon Anime Universe every being has a "star seed". This star seed manifests in one of two ways, the councious emotions of the person, known as the Heart Crystal and the subcouncious dreams and desires of the person known as the Dream Mirror. The conncetion between the Star Seed, the Heart Crystal and the Dream Mirror filles the person with energy. If a person is evil then their body will be full of negative energy and if the person is good then their body is filled with positive energy. Positive energy and negative energy naturally attract which is what causes the conflict between good and evil. Certain individuals, charged with the defense of the celetsial objects, have particularly pure and powerful star seeds known as True Star Seeds and allow the individual to become a Sailor Senshi, a defender of love and justice. These Sailor Senshi defend their various celestial objects of the galaxy against the forces of Chaos, the corruptor of Star Seeds. As True Star Seeds are inherent to their being they will often have powers even in civilian state.

Introduction to the Dark Kingdom: The Dark Kingdom, who lives in a parallel universe made of dark energy were drawn to the positive energy of our world. The Dark Kingdom is mostly made up of a combination of human-like beings like Queen Beryl and the Shitennou and the youma (demons/monsters pick your translation). The Dark Kingdom and our Universe interacting once before where they corrupted mankind and brought an end to the glorious civilization centered around the moon and the Silver Age that it was centered around known as The Silver Millenium. However in the fight the queen of the Dark Kingdom, Queen Metallia, was killed. Now the Dark Kingdom is trying to draw the energy of humankind to sacrifice to Queen Metallia and bring an end to their age-long enemies.

Senshi:

Sailor Moon:

Physical: Sailor Moon is not usually thought of as a brawler type but she does have some unexpected competence in that area. In episode 4 (Usagi Will Teach You How to Lose Weight!) Luna tells Sailor Moon that if she beats Jadeite's three mind-controlled musclemen that she will lose weight Sailor Moon easily outmelees all three of them despite all three being giant muscle-bound physical trainers.

Movement: In episode 1 (Crybaby Usagi's Magnificent Transformation!) Sailor Moon hears Naru being choked by the youma Morga. Despite having a short dialogue with Luna before leaving she still gets there ("there" being an unspecified distance from Sailor Moon's room to Naru's house somewhere on the other end of Tokyo.) before Naru goes uncouncious despite the youma's strength. In episode 6 (Protect the Melody of Love! Usagi is a Cupid!) despite having a very large head-start Sailor Moon easily catches up to the flying youma Kyurene. In episode 13 (Girl Power! The End of Jadeite!) Sailor Moon outruns a plane with Sailor Mercury and Sailor Mars. It is also implied that she possesses the incredible jumping power of her peers as she somehow gets from ground level onto the plane with Sailor Mars that Tuxedo Kamen was somehow flying out of the Pocket Universe.

Reaction/Reflex: Sailor Moon has an abundance of Reflex Feats. In episode 3 (Mysteious Sleeping Illness, Protect the Girl's Hearts in Love!) she dodges many room-level explosions from the youma Flau. In episode 6 (Protect the Melody of Love! Usagi is a Cupid!) she dodges the supersonic waves of the youma Kyurene. In episode 12 (I Want a Boyfriend, Too! A Trap on a Luxury Cruise Ship!) she dodges the giant currents of water from the very powerful youma Thetis. Even when she had all of her energy drained in episode 9 (Usagi's Misfortune! Watch Out for the Rushing Clocks!) she dodges Ramua's repeated spear thrusts at her point-blank.

Attacks: In Episode 1 Sailor Moon's crying gets revertabrated through her hairpieces which causes Supersonic Crying waves that knocks out the mind-contolled minions of Morga and causes a minature earthquake. It only annoyed Morga though. It is a one-shot power so it may not be counted although considering Morga's resistence to it, it may just be that it would be an inefficent weapon to use against any of her enemies.

Sailor Moon's main power for this arc is called Moon Tiara Action, where she takes off her tiara, which becomes a magical disc, and throws it at the enemy, cutting them in half and turning them into moondust. This attack proves more versatile then it might appear. In episode 3 (Mysterious Sleeping Illness, Protect the Girl's Hearts in Love!) when the youma Flau dodges her Moon Tiara Action Sailor Moon demonstrates the abilility to control the Moon Tiara in mid-air, this is an ability which she would use again in later episodes. In episode 10 (Cursed Buses! Fire Warrior Mars Appears!) when the youma Kigaan foolishly catchs the Tiara in mid-air, the tiara turns on her and traps her. The Tiara also has notable power in sheer destruction. In episode 9 (Usagi's Misfortune! Watch Out for the Rushing Clocks!) the Tiara cuts a hole open to a pocket universe. The feat is wierd though, as is the episode and caution should be used before using the feat. The Moon Tiara Action is also very accurate. Sailor Moon reguarly uses it on youma a good distance away and still hits them in one shot. However there are two particular moments of accuracy that need pointing out. In episode 4 (Usagi Will Teach You How to Lose Weight!) Sailor Moon destroys all three mind-controlling headbands on each of the musclemen Jadeite was controlling without harming them in a single shot. In episode 5 (A Monster's Scent! Chanela Steals Love!) Sailor Moon manages to use the Tiara to hit the small weak point of Iguara on the base of her tail.

Other Powers: Sailor Moon has a few other powers. As mentioned in the category for movement in episode 1 (Crybaby Usagi's Magnificent Transformation!) she hears Naru's cry despite being halfway across the city.

In episode 3 (Mysterious Sleeping Illness, Protect the Girl's Hearts in Love!) Luna gives Sailor Moon the diguise pen which allows Sailor Moon to mimic any person she wishes including their appearence and mannerisms although, as comically noted, not their abilities.

In episode 5 (A Monster's Scent! Chanela Steals Love!) Sailor Moon uses another ability from her Moon Tiara called Moon Tiara Stardust which frees the people who were under the control of the youma Iguara. It is unknown what the extent of this power is as it was only used once.

Sailor Mercury:

Physical: Besides being on about the same level of Sailor Moon, Sailor Mercury dosen't have many physical feats. However in Episode 8 (Is the Genius Girl a Monster? Brainwashing School of Terror!) she resists the energy-draining of the youma Garoben before she even recieves her Senshi powers.

Mental: Sailor Mercury's civilian power is her super-intelligence. In episode 8 (Is the Genius Girl a Monster? Brainwashing School of Terror!) she is proclaimed to be the smartest kid in Japan and to have a cartoonishly high IQ of 300. And it is not just pure intelligence as well, it is all mental stats. In episode 10 (Curses Buses! Fire Warrior Mars Appears!) she keeps the rapidly closing wormhole between the collapsing Pocket Universe her friends were caught in and Earth open with sheer willpower.

Movement: Sailor Mercury is comparable to Sailor Moon and Sailor Mars in speed and outruns a plane with them in Episode 13 (Girl Power! The End of Jadeite!). Also in episode 8 (Is the Genius Girl a Monster? Brainwashing School of Terror!) she dodges the youma Garoben's axe swings in civilian form.

Attacks: Sailor Mercury dosen't really have an "attack" this season. She does have the ability called Bubble Spray which can do some slight damage to the enemy from the cold however the primary purpose is that the bubbles of the Bubble Spray release a thick mist that allows for distraction so that Sailor Moon or Sailor Mars can use one of their offensive powers against the monster.

Other Powers: In episode 9 (Usagi's Misfortune! Watch Out for the Rushing Clocks!) Sailor Mercury recieves a magical supercomputer from Luna which is capable of interacting with any electronic. In the same episode Sailor Mercury uses that supercomputer to quickly discover the rules of the pocket universe that the youma Ramua created (may also count as an intelligence feat from Sailor Mercury snce this was her second time using it.) In episode 13 (Girl Power! The End of Jadeite!) she uses the magical supercomputer to determine the minions of Jadeite were clay beings rather then normal beings.

Sailor Mars:

Physical: Sailor Mars has limited knowledge of Martial Arts as can be seen in episode 13 (Girl Power! The End of Jadeite!) where she KOs Jadeite's clay beings with simple strikes thinking them mind-controlled humans and not wanting to hurt innocents.

Movement: Sailor Mars is implied to be able to either be able to jump or levitate herself like most of her peers as she somehow got on the bus Tuxedo Kamen was somehow flying in episode 10 (Cursed Buses! Fire Warrior Mars Appears!). She is also quite quick as demonstrated in episode 13 (Girl Power! The End of Jadeite!) where she outruns a plane alongside Sailor Moon and Sailor Mercury.

Attacks: Sailor Mars has two attacks, the magic Ofuda (prayer strips) or Fire Soul which is a fireball Sailor Mars can conjure to her fingers.

Sailor Mars is a shinto priestess and as such can use the prayer strips known as the Ofuda in both civilian and Senshi forms. The prayer strips are inherently drawn to dark energy which it purges upon contact unless the force is strong enough to counteract it. The Ofuda has shown numerous uses. In episode 11 (Usagi vs. Rei? A Nightmare in Dreamland!) when Sailor Mars is bitten by a snake whose poison begins to turn her to stone she uses the Ofuda on herself which purges out the dark energy of the poison and heals her. In the same episode Sailor Mars uses the Ofuda to paralyze the youma Murid. In episode 13 (Girl Power! The End of Jadeite) Sailor Mars uses the Ofuda on Jadeite. The Ofuda was drawn to his dark thoughts keeping him from using his concentration-based abilities properly.

Sailor Mars's other ability, Fire Soul, can only be used in Senshi form. It is a rather powerful attack. In Sailor Mars debut episode, episode 10 (Cursed Buses! Fire Warrior Mars Appears!) the Fire Soul completely incinerates the youma Kigaan and the leftover power starts collapsing the pocket universe. Although granted this is probably helped by the fact that the creator of that pocket universe was just incinerated. Still even in normal circumstances it is a powerful attack. In episode 11 (Usagi vs. Rei? A Nightmare in Dreamland!) the Fire Soul easily destroys one of the walls of the youma Murid's palace. Fire Soul is also much hotter then more normal fires. In episode 12 (I Want a Boyfriend, Too! A Trap on a Luxury Cruise Ship!) it completely evaporates the goo-like minions of Thetis in a single second. In episode 13 (Girl Power! The End of Jadeite!) after finding out that Jadeite's minions were not normal humans but monsters made out of clay Sailor Mars uses Fire Soul on them which causes them to evaporate immediatly. They don't go into a liquid state first, they go straight to gaseous state.

Other Powers:

As a Shinto Shrine Maiden Sailor Mars has a few powers even before gaining her Senshi powers. Her civilian power is that she has prophecies and visions which are always accurate unless interfered with by a powerful dark force like Jadeite. She can also learn of the future by looking into a fire and speaking a chant which was shown in episode 10 (Cursed Buses! Fire Warrior Mars Appears!) when she uses it to discover that Jadeite was the dark force plaguing the temple. This was already suspected to her before however because as shown in the same episode she has the ability to detect evil presences unless hidden with powerful magic.

Sailor Mars displays a few other tricks in episodes after that. In episode 11 (Usagi vs. Rei? A Nightmare in Dreamland!) she displays the fact that she can sense all auras, not just evil ones when she catches onto Murid's deception. In the next episode (I Want a Boyfriend, Too! A Trap on a Luxury Cruise Ship!) she shows minor probability manipulation to win a game of chance and get the ticket prize.

Allies:

Luna:

Luna is the magical cat guardian and advisor to the Senshi. While not exactly a prime candidate for versus matches I am putting down her feats for completion and just in case.

Physical: Luna is much stronger then the average cat. In episode 4 (Usagi Will Teach You How to Lose Weight!) she pounces on and overpowers Sailor Moon despite being much smaller and much lighter. In episode 6 (Protect the Melody of Love! Usagi is a Cupid!) she outdoes this feat as she pounces on and overpowers a youma, specifically the youma Kyurene, and knocks her down.

Mental: Luna is hyper-intelligent. Besides the obvious fact that despite being a cat, she can talk, in episode 8 (Is the Genius Girl a Monster? Brainwashing School of Terror!) using just a noraml human computer she analyzes and reads advanced alien technology.

Movement: In episode 1 (Crybaby Usagi's Magnificent Tranformation) she makes a double flip in midair casually and later that episode jumps up to Sailor Moon's 2nd story window. She can also act very quickly when she wishes to. In episode 5 (A Monster's Scent! Chanela Steals Love!) she quickly jumps onto Sailor Moon's head, grabs the chanela and leaves before Sailor Moon can react.

Powers: Luna has shown the ability to create magical devices out of nowhere. Besides the transformation pens she makes the disguise pen for Sailor Moon in episode 3 (Mysterious Sleeping Illness, Protect the Girl's Heart in Love!) and the magical supercomputer for Sailor Mercury in episode 9 (Usagi's Misfortune! Watch Out for the Rushing Cocks!) Additionally she can sense evil auras like she does to Jadeite's aura in episode 12 (I Want a Boyfriend, Too! A Trap on a Luxury Cruise Ship!)

Tuxedo Kamen:

Physical: Physically Tuxedo Kamen can go toe-to-toe with Jadeite as seen in episode 13 (Girl Power! The End of Jadeite!)

Movement: Tuxedo Kamen can move at similar ambigous speeds as the other Senshi and Jadeite. He has also demonstrated the ability to fly both in episode 3 (Mysterious Sleeping Illness, Protect the Girl's Hearts in Love!) and in episode 13 (Girl Power! The End of Jadeite!). In The latter he also dodges Jadeite's energy lightning but considering the nature of the energy lightning this feat is likely an incalcuable one.

Attacks: Tuxedo Kamen attacks only with a rose in this arc. He is pretty accurate with the rose. That's about it. Although at the very least the roses do seem to have a magical nature to them as they disrupt evil-doers despite being a single flower.

Other Powers: Tuxedo Kamen has an innate sense on the weakness of his opponent. In episode 9 (Usagi's Misfortune! Watch Out for the Rushing Clocks!) he attacks the clock that houses the youma Ramua's power without being told what it was "sensing" that is was the weakness of his enemy.

Villains and Youma:

Jadeite:

Jadeite is the 1st General of the Dark Kingdom which are also known as the the Shitennou. Jadeite was assinged to collect energy from the Near East and look for the Moon Princess and the Silver Crystal there as well.

Physical: Jadeite has highly superhuman durability. In episode 13 (Girl Power! The End of Jadeite!) Jadeite gets hit by a plane while weakened from Sailor Mars's ofuda. He is only a bit scratched up from this.

Mental: Jadeite is one of the four supreme generals with thousands of years of experience.

Movement: As seen in episode 3 (Mysterious Sleeping Illness, Protect the Girl's hearts in Love!) and in episode 10 (Cursed Buses! Fire Warrior Mars Appears) Jadeite can move faster then the eye can see. Assumably the Senshi can move, or at least react, at similar speeds since in combat with them he seems to move at about normal speeds.

Reaction: While fighting off the effects of the paralyzing ofuda of Sailor Mars in episode 13 (Girl Power! The End of Jadeite) he still manages to dodge the Moon Tiara Action.

Teleportation: Jadeite is quite capable of teleportation although the exact method seems to change from episode to episode. In episode 1 (Crybaby Usagi's Magnificent Transformation!) Jadeite teleports into Queen Beryl's throne room in a puff of flame. In the next episode (Punish Them! The House of Fortune is the Monster's Mansion!) Jadeite teleports in the form of light. Although his most common form of teleportation is opening a black hole and going through it. As seen in episode 12 (I Want a Boyfriend, Too! A Trap on a Luxury Cruise Ship!) his abilities seem to be maintained through his concentration which is why he can't just teleport whenever he is danger.

Attacks:

In episode 12 (I Want a Boyfriend, Too! A Trap on a Luxury Cruise Ship!) Jadeite creates a dark ball of energy able to kill all three senshi. In the next episode (Girl Power! The End of Jadeite!) he can casually send out energy blasts strong enough to kill any one of the senshi individually, he also shows that he can use the same energy gathered to send out energy lightning which he showed in his battle with Tuxedo Kamen in the same episode. In that same episode he claims to have the firepower to burn all of Tokyo to the ground. While this is a statement, Luna agrees with it which gives it some credibility.

Other Powers:

As seen in almost every episode Jadeite has the ability to take energy and shape it into the form of a ball and levitate it. In episode 3 (Mysterious Sleeping Illness, Protect the Girl's Hearts in Love!) Jadeite casually cancels out the kinetic energy of the Moon Tiara Action. Like youma Jadeite can steal energy but Jadeite can do it far more casually as seen in episodes 10 (Cursed Buses! Fire Warrior Mars Appears!) and 13 (Girl Power! The End of Jadeite!) where he takes almost all the energy of a bunch of humans with a simple hand gesture. As seen in the latter of those episodes he can also control humans without energy. In the former of those episode Jadeite displays another trick of his abilities, he opens up a black hole which sucks Sailor Mars (in civilian form) into a pocket universe while easily resisting the pull of the black hole himself. Jadeite can also disguise himself as human. Even humans who, as seen in episode 12 (I Want a Boyfriend, Too! A Trap on a Luxury Cruise Ship!) look nothing like him. In the same episode we see he has the ability to sense auras similar to Sailor Mars. We see a few more tricks of Jadeite in the next episode (Girl Power! The End of Jadeite!) Jadeite can create illusions in the sky large enough to be seen everywhere in Tokyo. He is able to telekinetically move objects as large as planes and can create living beings out of clay.

Morga:

Morga comes from episode 1 (Crybaby Usagi's Magnificent Transformation!)

Physical: Morga is incredibly flexible able to bend her head 180 degrees and extend her arms several meters. She also easily shakes off Sailor Moon's supersonic crying.

Movement: Morga can fly/levitate.

Attacks: Morga attacks by extending her claws.

Other Powers: Morga can control people even while disguised although this feat may require the cursed stones so it may not be valid. She can still take energy while in normal form however and can control humans who have been drained of their energy. She can also teleport her energy to other places such as when she sends it to Jadeite.

Balm:

Balm comes from episode 2 (Punish Them! The House of Fortune is the Monster Mansion.)

Physical: Balm has shown to be able to throw razor-sharpcards capable of slicing through walls with good accuracy from several meters away. Besides this her hair can act like claws.

Attacks: Balm can use her magical cards either as throwing weapons or to drain the energy of her opponents from a close distance.

Other Powers: Balm has shown the ability to use telekinesis as she psionically lifted playing cards. She has also shown the ability to hypnotize humans by looking into their eyes and turning them into evil hedonists. However she still has complete control over those whom she hypnotizes.

Flau:

Flau comes from Episode 3 (Mysterious Sleeping Illness! Protect the Girl's Hearts in Love!)

Physical: Flau jumps through windows completely unharmed.

Movement: While Sailor Moon was running Flau managed to fly fast enough to pop up right in front of her.

Attacks: Flau can shoots roughly room-level explosions from her mouth.

Other Powers: Flau can create flowers that drain humans of their energy. These flowers are extremely effective to the point where just touching one briefly caused Sailor Moon to fall asleep.

Iguara:

Iguara comes from Episode 5 (A Monster's Scent! Chanela Steals Love!)

Physical: Iguara crashes through a building wall without slowing.

Movement: Iguara easily outruns Sailor Moon when at a full charge.

Attacks: Mostly she just attacks things with brute strength.

Other Powers: Using small fluffy creatures called Chanelas. The Chanela hypnotises people on contact and creates a deep obsession with the chanela while their energy is drained. Anyone under the control of a Chanela is under the direct control of Iguara. The only weak spot on Iguara is at the base of her tail.

Kyurene:

Kyurene comes from episode 6 (Protect the Melody of Love! Usagi is a Cupid!)

Physical: Kyurene is very durable, easily crashes through a large glass pane and later is hit with it's own supersonic waves, which only distracted it for a moment. Considering Sailor Moon's Moon Tiara Action has a similar effect on it that it does most Youma, that gives a good show of how powerful the Moon Tiara Action is and how durable Youma usually are.

Movement: Besides the obvious fact that she can fly, Kyurene has shown the ability to leap great distances, even while in human form, and also minor teleportation abilities.

Attacks: Kyurene has extending claws for melee like most Youma, she can also send out Supersonic waves from her wings.

Other Powers: Kyurene has the ability to change into a swarm of bats and in this form can put people to sleep by draining their energy.

Derella:

Derella comes from episode 7 (Usagi Learns a Lesson! The Road to Stardom is Tough!)

Attacks: Derella has two main attacks. She can shoot a blue sticky substance out of her mouth which entangles the person caught in it and she can hypnotize those whom she sees.

Other Powers: Derella being made out of a goo-like substance has no joints and can bend however wanted, like Morga she displayed the ability to twist her head 360 degrees. Besides this she can take the form and voice of any human the goo touches and she can fly.

Garoben:

Garoben comes from episode 8 (Is the Genius Girl a Monster? Brainwashing School of Terror)

Physical: Garoben has enough strength to lob pieces of paper through a chalkboard.

Powers: Garoben can drain the enrgy of humans through technology near to them and can control the people she steals energy from. She has also displayed the ability to alter her mass as she changed her arm into an axe when fighting Sailor Mercury.

...

Ramua:

Ramua comes from episode 9 (Usagi's Misfortune! Watch out for the Rushing Clocks!)

Mental: According to Jadeite Ramua is an accomplished time manipulator

Attacks: Can freeze people in time which she did to Sailor Mercury. Can also attack with her spear.

Other Powers: Creates clocks that cause so much time perceptions problems that people actually tried to run from Tokyo to Paris. Harnessed the excess energy burnt. She can create a pocket dimension (that self-regenerates) and can create or destroy entrances to the Pocket Dimension. Within that Pocket Dimension she can cause time to move faster or slower or even completely backwards.

Kigaan:

Kigaan comes from Episode 10 (Cursed Buses! Fire Warrior Mars Appears!)

Physical: After being bound by the Moon Tiara Action Kigaan showed the ability to overpower it with brute force.

Movement: Kigaan was able to jump over the Moon Tiara Action while still in flight and caught in midair when Sailor Moon brought it back.

Other Powers: Kigaan was shown to display a human, if intimidating form. She also showed levitation abilities such as when she levitated a whole bus and the ability to open up 4-dimensional wormhole which she used to bring the victims of the week to a pocket universe created by the Dark Kingdom.

Murid:

Murid comes from episode 11 (Usagi vs. Rei! Nightmare in Dreamland!)

Movement: Murid has displayed the ability to teleport.

Attacks: Muird has no direct attacks however she can breathe out a mist that causes hallucinations of an ideal fantasyland.

Other Powers: Murid creates a snake whose poison turns people to stone. She is also an expert illusionist, she disguises the snake as a harmless bunch of flowers and casually creates an illusion of an entire palace for a whole amusement park full of people.

Thetis:

Thetis comes from Episode 12 (I Want a Boyfriend! A Trap on a Luxury Cruise Ship!) Thetis is not your ordinary youma. Thetis survived long enough to be promoted to directly serving Queen Beryl herself. She aids Jadeite though and is within his arc so she is counted here. As a promoted youma she is a good deal more powerful then most youma.

Physical: Thetis was hit with the Moon Tiara Action (which usually disintegrates Youma), the Bubble Spray, and the Fire Soul (which usually incinerates youma.) and Thetis survives. When Thetis does die her body hitting the water causes a whirlpool to appear and then to disappear.

Mental: As a promoted youma Thetis is smarter then most youma, able to come up with her own plans and lead her own minions.

Movement: Thetis is quick enough to leap long distances and tackle Sailor Moon through a window in one second. She was also shown to be able to teleport through water which is how she first appears before Jadeite.

Attacks: Thetis, like many youma before her, can attack with her extending claws but besides that Thetis can control the water and can create huge columns of water capable of dealing signifigant damage to a Luxury Cruise Ship.

Other Powers: Thetis can create an illusion of a Luxury Cruise Ship easily and can absorb energy from humans quick enough to have them fall uncouncious before they can even react. She also controls her own watery minions. These minions can renegeration from being cut in half (and in fact both halves regenerate into two beings). These minions can also disguise themselves as humans.
