HSaabedra (Level 4)

Not going to go in-depth on this one since the full review is on my site, but I'm not holding out much hope for Chu-Bra!! after seeing the first episode.  For some reason, more anime productions are forgetting subtlety and prefer to beat people over the head with jokes instead of letting the joke play itself out organically.  The character design is cute, especially Nayu's at the expense of any real development for secondary characters while the pacing is really inconsistent.
 
Another element I didn't like was how the show seemed to revel in its voyeuristic camera work when focused on Nayu, which made me uncomfortable.  It takes a lot to make me squirm when it comes to anything involving sexuality, but watching a middle schooler undress and show off racy lingerie seems to be my limit, despite the intention to be humorous.  
 
I'll keep watching it since it can't get any worse, but I've been proven wrong before.
