A few weeks back
, I wrote about the release of the Rin Tohsaka
Portraits Artbook. About a week and a half ago, my copy had come in, but due to my lack of free time to take pictures or do anything cool with it, I decided to hold off until I had some other key figures around (BADUMP Tsss...).
Today however, a certain little dude arrived in mail box, so today he's going to help me out.
Shirou is pleased :D
You better believe I concur! (About the first 20 pages were various artist renditions that were cool like this)
He even put on his winter gloves and scarf to try and be festive with them
Closer towards the back, they included base character sketches for her different outfits... Why oh WHY do I find her wearing an apron to be so incredibly HOT!?
Hahaha, Taiga's wondering who that man standing behind Rin is (Archer).
Rin and Archer's "Kaleido Shopping Corner"
And there's your quick preview of the Rin Tohsaka Portrait collection. Some of the art pieces towards the front are just criminally beautiful, but I'd rather not make this blog post any longer than it's going to be. Overall, I was extremely pleased, and they even included some pretty high grade post cards in the back (though I doubt anyone would ever use them as such).
Also, the same weekend that my Rin artbook arrived, I visited my local used books, movies, music, and games store, and I stumbled upon something quite amazing in the foreign language section. Now, typically the foreign language section almost always has some manga in its original Japanese, and once every blue moon they might have a series I might have some interest in reading, but I never EVER expected them to have something like a Fate/Stay Night
Even Shirou is deep in thought over the odds of finding such a treasure
As if there would be any doubt, I bought it up almost instantly (best $4 I've ever spent), and slowly but surely I've been working my way through translating it in some of my free time.
And finally, in the same package my Emiya Shirou figma came in, I also got a cool shirt modeled after Emiya's projection projection magic circuit (the same one that I'm using for my background here).
(took the photo in the mirror, thus why it's backwards)
The best part? On the back it says "Trace On."
Talk about an awesome undercover otaku shirt. :D
