I just finished watching episode 161 of the Ranma 1/2 anime show, and I'm unbelievably upset with the ending. There are number of things that I was disappointed with, but I was most disappointed( I can't believe I'm saying this) is the fact that there was no wedding! I normally wouldn't care about romantic endings(*cough* the wedding *cough*), I'm more of an action kind of person. This series had great action, but great character development melded together. After 161 episodes, I grew into the characters and felt for them. Unbelievably, this was the first time I wanted that romantic ending(not so much waiting for a big action scene), and I don't get it. Gah! The irony -_-......
Oh well, it's still an anime I enjoyed very much. It had action, comedy, and romance I could actually tolerate watching throughout. It's in my top 3 favorite animes, despite its ending. I just want to know if the ending I'm looking was ever shown in the manga or other animes?
