Lots of blue in these titles.
 
Anyway, yesterday I decided to try out the English dub-- it's pretty solid. Unrelatedly, it occured to me...so far, the show could almost be like a more conventional take on Gurren Lagann. Young kid, tough life, sees a rebellious and talented adult as a mentor, and operates a mech via his inner strength? Hmm.
 
Not that it's all that unusual a plot either, I guess.
