What ever happened to the podcasts you were making? I liked it more than the Internal Affairs one.

I watch a lot of anime and read a lot of mangas. While I still have respect for the characters from comic books, such as Batman. I just got really tired of constant events, constant wiping of continuity, puesdo character evolution, or general lack direction for a series. I don't even really blame the writers or artists (other than Greg Land). I blame editors who want to keep characters in a static level. A character my get a chance to evolve under one writer, but another one will come along and change it. Joe Quesada wiped out decades of character history of Spider-man all because he didn't want Peter and Mary Jane to be married. He even wanted to bring back Gwen Stacy, but faced push back from the other writers and artists. Nothing about that character's history means anything to him. Comic publishers are obsessed with retelling the past instead of moving ahead to the future.
With manga, I'm pretty much guaranteed continuity, character evolution, and no wild jumps in art style. The drama feels real and deaths aren't motivated by sales. Marvel is now planning on killing off a character every quarter. That's blatant pandering. Why would they even admit that to the public? Death and continuity in comics is an absolute joke. Mangas are planned out for the long run. While comics are only planned for the few months a writer is on the book. Something could happen in a manga and leave you wondering about what this could mean for the future. You will almost always get an answer to the questions. With comics, something may happen but never get resolved. That's because a new writer comes along and doesn't think about this. It makes me wonder why the first writer even left you hanging.
After Cassandra Cain left being Batgirl. I was really looking forward to that moment of their reunion. She was basically his adopted daughter at that point. Well, DC did all those Road Home books. Everyone got a Road Home book other than Cassandra. The even more weird thing is that the Road Home books were being released before the outcome of Return of Batman. They were telling the story of his return before he even actually returned.
Even now, DC is basically trying to turn Superman into Batman. They are trying to turn him into a brooding loner.
It also helps that not every manga or anime is designed to go on for several decades. Some anime series can be as short as 12-24 episodes. I like a lot of animes, but I also prefer to read something.
I'm open to discussing this more, I'd like to get some MODS to chime in. Someone get FoxxFireArt and Newten to read this.
Now I understand why I was told about this. I was reading the first page and I didn't get what was going on. No one has submitted any new concept pages.
RPG characters sounds like a tricky business. This could just go really badly really fast.
I don't see why figures would need a site section when they are mostly of characters. We just need a section in Image galleries.
Be careful with that. There are times a picture will stay in my galleries for a few days then be gone for no apparent reason.
Staff is aware of it, but it's San Diego Comic Con. It's hard to know how much staff is still even at that office.
Actually, I was mainly just joking. Sarcasm doesn't translate well via text.
About the cakes. I only make those for my cousin's kids. See, this daughter has a serious peanut allergy. When she was two they had to toss out her birthday cake (on her birthday) because the bakery wasn't a peanut safe environment. To prevent that from happening, I volunteered to start making their cake for their kids. The kids pick the theme and flavors and I make the cakes. I just haven't made any recently, because they haven't asked me to make any more. The kids were probably being spoiled for cakes. lol For all their lives they have only ever known my highly designed cakes.
I haven't had much time for personal projects as it goes with art. I would like to submit more articles. I have tons of ideas for them. It' more of a time issue. Also, it's not as if I'm a staff writer. I want to the site to do well, but shouldn't put forth too much free work.
It's ironic that this bug attacks just as I get this collection of great images for characters and manga volumes. I can't do anything with them until this gets fixed. The real problem with this bug is that it's so hard to know when it gets fixed. To test it, you have to risk losing images.
I only noticed this issue today. As I was browsing through my work on the Black Lagoon franchise page. I just randomly clicked on the small image you see for the Black Lagoon manga. The image loaded at the bottom of the screen, but only half of it, as you see in the picture below. If I tried scrolling down, the image remains halfed at the bottom of my browser. This is also happening on news articles.
The next issue has to do when I attempt to look at an image in it's full size. http://www.animevice.com/profile/foxxfireart/all-images/84-151556/hotd_tv/83-443717/
When I try to load this image to full size, this screen cap is what I see. The picture is loaded, but the scrolling down to look at the rest of the picture has been disabled. This is all I can see of the blown up image.
This is an issue I've been having over all the Whiskey Media sites that I'm a member of.
I've been having so many recent images I've uploaded just disappearing from the site. This is easily one of the most annoying bugs I've seen on the site. I really hope this gets fixed and fast.
Cool, really hope this gets figured out soon. Some pictures that I loaded to the A Certain Scientific Rail Gun manga covers on Friday are now just gone. Both from the profile and from my own gallery. It makes me unsure about loading any images.
Yeah, but I added a lot of wiki pages to the site. With all those One Piece characters, locations, objects, and concept pages. That's just that one series. That's not counting other series.
I like how Newten is adding articles as well, but what are my articles? Chopped Liver??
How do you know how many pages you make on a Whiskey site? I don't think I could possible go through and put together a list for all the pages I've worked on. I just know I've made around 22,000 submissions.
I don't know what bothers so many about zombiepie.
On top of the issue I reported above. I've been having another issue with images. I didn't want to try and submit any more images into profiles until this issue got cleared up, but I loaded some images just into my profile's Image gallery to wait. I logged on this morning to find that two of the images that I loaded last night were gone. It took a few tries, but I eventually got them reloaded into my gallery. I have not tried to add them into any wiki galleries just yet.
During one of my attempts at an image reload. The screen did flash an error message after I tried to hit save on the image that said "Epic Fail".
I don't know if this is related to the same issue, but there are images missing from the front page of the site.
As you can see in this screenshot, CLAYMORE and BLEACH are missing the picture and the same for zombiepie's blog on the right.
This has also been happening to me since Friday. At first I thought it was just a bug with the manga pages, but I experienced it again today with a location profile I was trying to add a photo to.
The first time I experienced this bug, I was trying to add Volumes and Cover Images for the mangas listed above. I would try and add the picture to the gallery, but something happened when I tried to submit. Though it appeared the picture when through and was in pace on that page. I hit [Save Changes], the page reloaded, and the image wasn't there. I looked in my personal image gallery and it wasn't there. So, I then tried another tactic. I first uploaded the image to my personal Image Gallery. Oddly enough, it took several tries just to get the picture to load properly into my own gallery. It was either taking forever to load for such a small image or just showing text and no picture. I would reload the page and the image was missing.
After I got the image to finally load in my gallery again, I then submitted it to the manga volumes. Something bugged out again, The image wasn't on the page, and the picture was removed from my personal Image Gallery again. It took several tries, but I eventually got it to work.
I recently submitted a location profile for the Philippine Islands. When I first submitted the profile, I added a image, as I always do. Though the profile went through, the image didn't. As you can see in this image below, I tried to resubmit the picture. It appears that the picture was loaded alright. I selected [Save], but if yo look at the Philippines page right now the image isn't there. After hitting [Save] the picture once more was removed from my gallery.
(Even as I was trying to upload this picture for this post, it removed the picture from my very own image gallery when I first tried to attack it to this post. I got it to load after my second attempt.)
One More Thing
I did notice something when I went to submit the Philippines page to the episode profile I needed it for. This image is of three examples of when I was typing the name in. You will see as I write each letter the image I tried to load is either there in the preview or it's missing. I just type "Phi" in the search tool and you can see it, but if I type more and it shows no image. I write the full name then you see the image.
It might not of been anything you did that made it eventually work. I eventually got some images to load after waiting an hour or so.
I'm happy to see I'm not the only one this is happening to.
I had that same problem on One Piece. I just wrote all the information down on paper then filled them out in sections.
Until this bug is fixed, I would recommend writing everything down in your blog section. Once your writing is done, you can cut and paste your work into the page.
