if anyone wondered(or should i say cared lol) where i was on animevice i was searching far and wide for new anime (2009-2011 or still continuing) that us, animevice users, should be watching. one of my friends on this site pushed me to do these reviews and i want to say thank you because some of the anime that i found were A.M.A.Z.I.N.G., im just sorry it took me so long to make these.

In a world after death, angels fight for their fate and their future. Yuri, the leader of the Shinda Sekai Sensen(they changed their group names alot during the series but we will call them the SSS), rebels against the god who destined her to have an unreasonable life. On the otherhand, Tenshi, the chairperson of the student council for the world after death, battles against the SSS members. SSS members utilize armed weaponry to battle it out against the angels harnessing supernatural powers.

The bad

when I started watching this anime the plot immediately confused the hell out of me (into the first couple of episodes) if the writers were trying to go for a more spiritual outlook (if you didnt catch it yes, they are in the afterlife) why the hell is are computers being used? dont get me wrong they explained everything at the end of the show however i could understand why someone would stop watching the anime with all the plot inconsistency. even at the end of the show they didnt really explain how Tenshi got her powers to fight the SSS or who created the world of which they were in. im guessing god is the obvious answer but the viewers would like to hear that considering all the confusion on the technology/spirituality subject. the world they were in seemed alot like the world in .hack except it had school life. The Angel, the enemy in the beginning of the series, obvious had powers however they were technological in nature. considering the fact that they haven't directly told us god created and controlled the world lets assume that god has nothing to do with it and it is mostly ran by computer, how can you connect spirits with technology and take the plot seriously?

The awesome

threw some miracle among miracles, the writer managed to flawlessly combine humor, violence, fighting action, sadness and romance making you completely forget the inconsistency of the plot and just enjoy the anime. the characters that the writer made were mindbogglingly original and unique in there own way. Its almost impossible to hate those characters. The characters background story was breathtakingly realistic and heartbreaking, your not watching this serious with out fighting back tears. the comedy in this anime literally had me crying at one point, i did not expect that kind of humor from this anime but they delivered and im more than impressed by it. The growing relationships between all the members truly took the cake IMO. They only had a couple romantic moment throughout the anime however those moments are enough to leave the view satisfied, i know i was. when it was all done and over with i craved more of this anime.

art, and animation

the animation is what took the cake for me. fighting scenes were short but absolutely amazing i would compare them to samurai champloos if not better.
the art is just as amazing, no complaints here

not one. single. complaint.
they were done beautify and i enjoyed every single one.

overall plot

the confusing plot in the beginning was disappointing but was carried by its entertaining qualities and the way it was put together in the end
i would recommend that every person on AV watch this 13 episode anime, your time will not be wasted.
thanks for the read please comment im VERY intersted in your opinions.
im still in the process of finding good, new anime but i will try to post more reviews on the ones i have already watched, including a summary on the worst ones of which my time has be wasted on.
