Sup Vice, foolycooly here with another review of the animes i have watched over the past couple of months. I been gone for a while now, starting college, got a job, lost a job, you get it so i havent had time for much posting/blogging, but i still watch anime and i could pass up the chance to share my thoughts with you on these. lets save the best for last and start off with the two biggest disappointments of 2011.

The world of Blue Exorcist consists of two dimensions joined as one, like a mirror. The first is the world in which the humans live, Assiah. The other is the world of demons, Gehenna. Ordinarily, travel between the two, and indeed any kind of contact between the two, is impossible. However the demons can pass over into this world by possessing anything that exists within it. Satan is the god of demons, but there's one thing that he doesn't have and that's a container in the human world that is powerful enough to hold him! For that purpose, he created Okumura Rin, his son from a human woman, but will his son agree to his plans, or will he become something else...? After killing Rin's guardian Father Fujimoto in an attempt to bring Rin back to the Demon world, it led to Rin's journey on becoming an Exorcist in order to defeat Satan.

im finding it hard too describe to you guys how much fail is in this anime. The plot is shotty, the characters are not only unoriginal but underdeveloped, and the villain is an absolute disappointment. with all that said this show has a huge fanbase due to the manga it is based on "ano no exorcist", however naruto and bleach also have huge fanbase's and look how that turned out.

The Good:

in my opinion this anime is very close to bleach/naruto(good and bad). the action is top notch, in fact you don't really go an episode without seeing some good ole' sword action. with that and the fact that Rin is vastly overpowered its a hell of a ride. the animation for this show is absolutely mind bending however if it hasn't really been obvious yet the animation for almost every anime has been improve over the past two years because of the rising demand of it so really it doesn't help the anime.

The REALLY bad:

Watching this anime is like watching a baseball game, except the batter can not hit a single ball and he never gets struck out. the anime is as good as the manga may be, is a train wreak. through out the entire story Rin is a overpowered monster he could litterally destroy anyone in the show with one swing (besides satan) but instead of creating stronger characters the held him back! this was just infuriating to watch. He either loses his sword, gets held back by the church, or hesitates in general.

Rin has 5 friends who throughout the ENTIRE series never developed into stronger characters. A huge mistake on the directors part, from episode 1 too now none of the 5 classmates learned anything new to fight demons. all of them relied on Rin, his brother, and other later characters to take care of the demons. As the story progresses you will find that these characters are nothing but a handicap.

If you were expecting this to also be a good school life anime you will be sorely disappointed. The school in which Rin trains at to become an exorcist has at least 2000 students at hand, we see Rin interact with almost none of them, in fact the 5 other students also only keep too themselves. If i haven't made it clear by now there are 5 characters in Rins class (not including him) throughout the entire show.

Overall Plot

the plot itself could have been awesome but it just did not deliever

The Money of Soul and Possibility Control:

The Japanese government was rescued from the brink of financial collapse by the Sovereign Wealth Fund. For its citizens, however, life has not improved, and unemployment, crime, suicide, and despair are rampant. Kimimaro, raised by his maternal grandmother after the disappearance of his father and the death of his mother, is a scholarship student whose only dream is to avoid all this and live a stable life. One day, however, he meets a man who offers him a large sum of money if he'll agree to pay it back. From then on his fate is radically altered as he's drawn into a mysterious area known as "The Financial District."

This anime was the most anticipated show next to "guilty crown" and "ano hana" however when it ended two things happen;

1) thousands of confused people wondered when episode 12 was coming out.

2)disappointment rained over thousands of people when they realized there is no episode 12.

The Good:

The plot to this anime is so original in its entirety that it is really difficult to compare it to any other anime. its like relating a anime to "berserk" or "gantz". The director of this anime perfectly mixed the japanesse economy with fantasy and, of course, romance. Personally i have never seen a a mixture of plot like this before in any anime that actually worked out.

The animation is just beautiful. its not the kind of good animation that shows like bleach have, the animation showed here proves that this anime was high budget from the start.

After 5 episodes you will realize why this anime was so anticipated by everyone.

The Bad:

I have never, in all my time of watching anime, been so disappointed at such a fantastic show. I enjoyed every moment of the series so much, in fact, that i ignored the major plot holes that filled the the anime from episode 1 not because it isnt noticeable but because the plot holes are so huge that you think that they would cover them in later episodes.

My face when that never happened:

The anime left so many unanswered questions about the anime that just left fans angry. why exactly does the finaical district exist? who the hell is Masakaki and why does he exist? who was the Masakaki look-a-like at the boarder of the finaical district? with the collapse of the finaical district what happened to the worlds economy? there are MANY more questions like this.

Another really confusing hole in the story is kimimaros relationship with Hanabi Ikuta. the director only focused on the relationships of the people in/or related to the financial district anyone outside of that only made small chit chat with kimimaro however his relationship Hanabi Ikuta clearly showed that he either had feelings for her or still did. the relationship with mysu later overshadowed hanabi however and they never got back to it. Once again i did expect that they would but the premature ending stopped that thought.

Art and Animation

5 out of 5

i really wish i could give this a 6 out of 5 without looking unprofessional.

3.5 out of 5

i was highly disappointed by the lack of real world interaction from kimimaro, however i cannot deny that the characters in the financial district are daringly original. i want to change it to a 4 out of 5 but i cant.

Overall plot

1.5 out of 5

you dont know how hard giving this anime a 1.5 out of 5 was. This show is so original and so unique that its just a shame that the directors ruined it with there plot holes and lack of episodes.

Part 2 coming up soon please excuse my grammar guys
