Frederica's hand slowly moved away from the pouch as the man spoke. He was beginning to like him. He always got straight to the point. Apparently his name was Marian and it was up to Frederica's little sister to decided what they'll do. Elizabeth's good nature and as it seemed current hunger made her trust the man quiet easily, deciding to come with him. Of course if that was her sister's wish Frederica wouldn't even think about complaining. And even so, she personally still thought that it was the best course of action to simply follow Marian and see what he has in store for them. There was only one thing that made Frederica rise an eyebrow. Marion decided to help them out without taking her money or anything else from them. One could simply conclude that Marian was a kind man ready to help those in need, but Frederica was a bit different. She found it extremely hard to believe that anyone would do something like that for complete strangers he just met, without seeing some kind of profit for himself. That didn't mean she'd just jump at him and attack him based on that minor worry, but she wouldn't completely lower her guard either.
They started walking. Marian was leading the way, Elizabeth and Frederica following closely behind. At the end of the line were Lucero and Iggy. The walking was done mostly in silence from Frederica's side. She'f occasionally glance at her sister or pet her on the head, but apparently didn't have a topic to address right now. What's more she was focused on her surroundings. They were walking through a forest, a perfect setting for ambushes to be made and traps to be placed. It somewhat delighted Frederica to see the Marian was doing the same, watching whether someone was following them. It was that hyper-aware and borderline paranoid behavior that Frederica was so fond of. The trip through the forest ended up lasting for some thirty minutes and they finally arrived at their destination, a cottage, though a fairly large one, an usual trait for cottages to have. It reminded Frederica of the house where she and Elizabeth lived with their foster mother, smaller of course and of slightly lower quality than this one.
Marian led the way and opened the door to his home, stepping inside. Frederica entered right behind him, keeping Elizabeth behind herself and holding her hand tight as if she was afraid that someone could take the girl away from her. The same moment they entered a shadow leaped across the room. Frederica's eyes narrowed as her free hand instinctively went for her weapon. It appeared she was right all along with no completely trusting the guy. But something was strange.
Luckily Frederica did not decided to strike with her weapon, not because of her own hesitation but because she noticed that the "assault" was aimed at Marian himself.
"You're back!" a high pitched, but sweet voice filled everyone's ears as a girl, slightly younger than Lucero and Frederica, jumped at Marian hugging him. Though the man was considerably larger than her and had clearly more mass, the force of her charge combined with her own weight was enough to "wrestle" the grown man to the ground as she hung her arms around his neck. They both ended up on the floor, with her sitting in his lap. Now that she was at a standstill everyone could see her clearly. A young lady who couldn't be older than 18 or maybe 19. Her hair was brown and reached down her back. She had a surprisingly clear and clean face. The feature that would strike anyone the most, even Frederica, were her big, blue, clear and shining eyes. She worse a simple dark red skirt over a brown shirt with brown stockings.
Though she was busy with rubbing her face against Marian's chest she quickly turned her attention to the group of Dragon Slayers once she noticed them.
Not knowing how to respond she simply blinked a few times.
