I was thinking about Robotics;Notes a lot when I was picking my top five from the working list.
I didn't include Btooom, Sword Art Online, or Magi in the working list since I had issues with those three's story and characters.
@takashichea: this is just the shows I can say I've seen that are from 2012 even if unfinished truth be told I find most of 2012 underwhelming (especially following the excellent year that was 2011)
and god i need to watch psycho-pass before I finish this list
