Still job hunting.
@reiyo: Gil on his own isn't a galaxy-buster as it's more Ea's showing than his. However as I've highlighted, all Servants in Extra/CCC are planetary-level with FTL. That is well beyond what the Naruto team could fend off.
@reiyo: The Zero and Stay Night version is able to inflict damage to as far as dozens of kilometers with a weakened attack which was used to destroy Iskander's Reality Marble in Fate/Zero. It's hyped to be planetary-range thanks to the sword's status as an Anti-World level Noble Phantasm and being a life-wiper as it could make the planet inhabitable for all life on it. Not that it matters as I do concede to the fact Gil is losing the first two scenarios in this match.
The Extra/CCC version is at least galactic-level in range as it destroyed a galaxy-sized dimension created by that universe's equivalent to Angra Mainyu. I don't necessarily see the Naruto team prevailing against the Extra/CCC version of Gil thanks to his amped-up stats. Last I recall, Naruto as a whole topped out at country to continental level in destructive level and durability with triple-digit Mach speeds.
@Theorder14: Yes it does and I don't get why people assume that the charge time is an issue. The energy emitted by Ea as it charges up is strong enough to harm nearby foes as Gil demonstrated when he used it on Shiro in the UBW route.
Voting time is officially up. Since we don't have at least 64 nominees/ entrants at this point, I winded up only allowing the first 32 couples that were voted in as entrants thus we shall have a 32-entrant tournament. As a quick recap, here are the couples that will be involved with this tournament:
I will leave this thread pinned for now for folks to discuss their thoughts on the couples who have made it into the tournament. I should be able to put together brackets for this tourney by sometime this upcoming weekend or early next week depending on how busy I get from my end.
I'll open up voting for extending the match since it seems we have yet to see what Yhwach is capable of with his new abilities. If enough votes come in to support the thread by later tonight, I'll extend the posting limit for the thread up to 400 posts.
Instead of Keitaro taking up residence, let's say our vampire lead from the Monogatari franchise takes the inevitable visit to the inn and becomes its manager. Upon arriving at the inn, he finds himself immediately facing the wrath of the residents. With Kaolla milking her Mecha Tamas, Motoko armed with a katana and Naru prepared to punch any man in sight, does Araragi any hope of surviving his ordeal with the three girls?
Those that have stood the test of time: Dragon Ball Z, Gundam, Cowboy Bebop, Macross, Studio Ghibli films, Sailor Moon, Evangelion, FLCL
Recent titles that I think would be considered classics: Makoto Shinkai films, Gurren Lagann, Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Summer Wars, Wolf Children, Kara no Kyoukai, Fate franchise
@Shadowchaos: Not taking Gohan and Videl since we already have two Dragon Ball couples for the tourney. Will approve the rest though.
No. Kirin is not chakra generated. Kirin concentrates naturally generated lightning (via chakra enhanced methodology ofc). But the lightning was not a product of Sasuke's chakra. He uses chakra to manipulate the lightning. Thus, it retained the fullt speed of an air-to-ground lightning strike.
It rather obviously is considering the attack takes on the form of a dragon and Sasuke is able to control it. The conditions involved with utilizing the technique even involved using chakra in the form of fire jutsu in order to heat up the atmosphere in the area enough to create the attack.
