Anyway, I like the reveal of Silver. I knew he was Gray's father, but revealing himself as that demon throw me for a loop. Great job, Hiro. You got me interested in one of your villains, but sadly the other are really boring
I have no idea who is fighting Natsu and the others, they feel like faceless henchmen. I also still mad that Sting came back, I really don't like that guy
Also, I really don't like that the other guilds don't get involved. I wondering what they doing, if I look out of a window and see 1000 faces, I would go see what is happening, not just sit at home and watch tv
Anyway, like the reveal, but the rest of the chapter was meh
Been enjoying Fairy Tail the past few weeks, but that enjoyment end in this Chapter. Why did Wendy cut her hair off at the beginning? She never worry about her appearance before, it feel like Hiro just read that Chapter of Naruto with Sakura cutting her hair and totally miss the meaning to it.
Minerva, Minerva, Minerva you really disappoint me, I like your character in the Magic Games Arc. But you keep going down hill, I really wish Hiro would have build up the flashback. I bet in the next arc we find out Minerva's father was just sad he lost his wife and that why he like to strip women who cry. I didn't feel nothing from the flashback
I never what to see Sting again, I know Sting would just leave Minerva behind if the main bad guy is to powerful for him. He didn't care about Lector's life, he didn't try to fight the remaining injure Fairy Tail members and now you want me to believe that he can face the main bad guy
Any way, I glad the other guilds have come to help.
LOL! I know what you mean, I have Anime and Manga I keep secret from my friends and family (like harem and ecchi), but then again they can find out pretty easy. But the biggest secret I keep (that I don't tell anyone, until now) is that I love Musume (like Daily Monster Girls) Anime/Manga. (but I do leave little clues that I like Musume LOL!) I'm ashamed at watching/reading those show. It kind of funny that I like those types of shows, but I can't watch Hentai and I always get mad at Fairy Tail for doing the same thing but lighter LOL! I always find that crazy (I guess you can call me a Musume freak). But you are braver then me, I still don't talk about ecchi or Musume that much
Any who, I know how you feel. When I was a freshmen in high school, people at my high school have stop playing Pokemon. And always saying it for kids, that make me really ashamed for like it and I quit playing it for awhile. But then one of my friends who was older then me was still playing it and wasn't ashamed by it and that give me courage to keep playing (I still playing Pokemon at the age of 27).
But, now I only feel ashamed to family or friends, I learning to accept my crazy hobby one step at a time
You know, I been watching and reading Anime/Manga for years. I will not hide, I'm a fan of it, if someone think I the devil for liking Anime then so be it. (I know I don't watch/read the stuff they think I watch/read) . Anyway, I have friends and family that understand me (that all I really need), I don't need to justify myself to a stranger who watch CNN.
it's the same thing, weapons, swords robots , pistols, spiritual beings, those things DC and marvel have. the japanese just added more names and more techniques, like if you need to say a word (unless you are a magician) to cast or blast something.
Yes, but they use it in different ways. Nothing is really creative anymore, because everything been done before. What I talking about, is using powers in different ways
For an example, in Read Or Die the main character can only manipulate paper. I never saw anyone in western comics have a power like that and be useful, they only manipulate metal, earth, fire or water
No object in Jojo is like the cosmic cube, a Stand does have a power kind of like
girls with magic powers , where did i see that? ah that's right sailor moon, pretty cure, magic knight rayearth, sakura card captors .......
Man with Super Powers, where I see that. Oh, all of Superheroes Comicbooks
hey dude even a rock in anime style can be "creative" look :
No, it creative because it have meaning to it. Not because it look Anime
Sadly, I don't really like Golem so I don't what to look up info for it. So here a video that show how well done the design for Pokemon are. They just don't slap a random design on them and call it a day (well, sometimes LOL!)
Ridiculous is creative, Superhero are a ridiculous concept. Man and Woman flying around fighting crime in tights
like if Animeand manga had NEVER done that. namaka power : fairy tail ,one piece card games: duel masters , yugi oh. monsters : digimon , pokemon, monster rancher. robots : gundam, macross . powerful aliens from another planet story : DBZ (1984) , Superman ( 1932). no, anime didn't rip off anything , you are "right" , they were "creative".
No, they are inspire not rip off. If they was they just be the same thing with little to no effect put to them
First up, Fairy Tail and One Piece have two different themes to them, they just have that in common. (It not just Friendship power) One Piece is about Freedom and Teamwork, while Fairy Tail is about Family and Friendship. Both series have different feel to them, they not cookie cutter (it just the tropes are)
Duel Masters was a parody on Yu-Gi-Oh!, it was making fun of it not ripping it off
Can't really say anything here LOL! But their themes are different
Gundam and Macross are different in their themes and how they use the mecha
No, Goku is base of Sun Wukong and Superman is base of Samson and Hercules. Legends from their
Comics don't really have rip off, because they do different thing with them. Like Namor is a different character to Aquaman, they do things in different ways. They not clones of each other
The reason why I found Manga, more creative then western comics is the culture. I like to see a different view on things. I live in the west, I already seen what ours comics and tv shows have to offer. Now, I spreading my wings to other cultures (like Franch, Europe and Korea) seeing how they deal with their entertainment
Sigh, why do all major Fairy Tail victories end with brute force? It really getting boring, why can't we have more Racer fights? Also Jackal is a really boring villain, Lamy was way better. Killing her, just make me dislike this chapter more
Also, who was that Fish guy. He just appear out of nowhere
My respect for both Lucy, Loke and Virgo have gone down, I feel like they weaker then Happy
Also, I don't care for Aquarius, since Lucy can easily visit her or get a new key in the next chapter or end of the arc. Hiro really need to stop this drama now, it getting annoying (he pull this four times already in the same arc)
And if Lucy is low on magic, how can she summon the Celestial Spirit King? I think it be better if she out smart her enemies, instead of using King
Any who, this episode make me dislike the "Blank" so much. Making poor Steph act like a dog and strip her, just make me mad. They should know how it feel like being tease, they shouldn't be doing it to other people. Seeing how they treat Steph, it feel like they just using humanity as a pawn in their game. Also, didn't like how they got over their Agoraphobia so fast, I really hope they develop
