Okay, I'm generally forgiving on most anime and will tend to watch just about everything. However, It's once you start talking to other people and going to cons where the fangirl squee abounds. This kind of obnoxious idolization of an anime makes me start to hate it. For instance Full Metal Alchemist is actually a very good series in it's own right but the obnoxiousness of the fans makes me want to burn everything and everyone related to it.
