that he will kill and eat Annie, even a long friend of his!I don't like Eren because he dared to say ( in the anime version )
Didn't he only say that during the fight in the forest, before he knew Annie was the Titan? Even if it was after, I think the point of his whole bipolar rage thing is to show that he's either mentally unstable (due to the things I mentioned before), he's being influenced by his Titan powers, or both. We know he doesn't want to kill or eat people when he's in control of himself, so you shouldn't hate him for that -- he's not doing it on purpose. Hell, it took him most of last episode to accept the fact that he had to fight Annie, a fellow human and one of his friends, before he could transform. He desperately doesn't want to become a monster, but the point was he had to let go of his humanity to save everyone else around him.
Also, the fact that he knew that all of his comrades were going to die from Annie ( the forest battle ), even admitting that he didn't trust them to defeat Annie, he still let them die!
But that was the whole point! Look how much convincing it took from them to stop him transforming right away. Don't forget the whole point of that mission was to protect Eren, regardless of the cost, and Eren was trying to throw himself right at the enemy chasing him! Plus, they had every reason to tell him not to risk transforming; they were in the forest where they should have had the advantage, they were the best squad in the military, and letting Eren transform risks having him turn on his friends. When Eren finally did transform he got his ass handed to him and was kidnapped!
If you should have hated any character in that episode, it should have been Levi. He was the one with the skills to take out the female Titan, but he waited until his squad was dead and Eren was beaten and kidnapped to do anything. Even then it took some persuading from Mikasa to get him to attack the female Titan.
You have to consider all of these things carefully before you decide to just hate one of the characters.
I mean, if you still hate him, fair enough! But I think there's much more to consider than just "he should have transformed to save his friends" because it was waaaaaay more complicated than that.
