Yup, this series got me hooked from the very beginning and I really want to kick myself for waiting so long to watch it. Not since Gundam Wing have I seen such a great Mecha series (not counting Evangelion, which I do not consider Mecha) and it's just so charming and exciting and even sad at times. It's only third to Evangelion and Clannad as my favorite anime, I felt in love with every character and cried when Kamina and Kitan died, also cried with the last two episodes, which may I say, are right there with Evangelion and Lucky Star as the best ending for any series I've seen.
I'll write a review when I find sometime, but for now I'll just say that this series is perfect, 5/5 and not something i'll forget any time soon. I think I can call myself a Gurren Lagann fan, but now I'll move onto the Manga, OVA and the movie so I can call myself a hardcore fan and learn more about it so I can be at the same level of knowledge i have with Eva.
