As I again randomly search things in the internet, I was able to look upon a certain blog in IGN (a gaming review site) on what are the worst feeling gamers can have. Then it struck me like hammer in the head. If gamers had the worst feelings that they could have then why not people who like anime. So I tried to remember all the worst possible feelings i had from the time i started watching till this current event of my life. And I realized , regardless of all of the times i had a great time watching anime, collect manga and figurines, sharing stories of the past anime's i watched in my life and, buying dakimamura pillow's for no reason. I did have more worst feeling than good ones. The same might be said for anyone who are Otaku. Hey my name is ARD and im about to tell you my Worst feeling that i encountred as an Otaku.
( This is MY opinion on a subject matter that can be debated or discuss about. I have no intention of bringing down anyone by a certain kind topic that I'm about give. This is for the purposes of reading or can be something you can relate. If you feel offended by any pictures you see, i apologize for making you feel that way. Hope you understand. )
Before i became an Otaku, there are things that are better of not knowing. I knew that japan has a weird sense for fetishes but for me i just didn't bother it and gave it a shot. This is were i realized that my friends are also the biggest douchebags in my life. They beg me to watch this show called Boku no Pico at a friends house for a day. And when I watched it, I felt like my life was being taken away. It almost seemed like i watched Two girls one cup all over again. I couldn't even escape since they tied me up and force me to watch it at a near distance to my face. I swore one day to give them a taste of their own medicine. What i learned that day was a reminder that japan couldn't get anymore weirder. But still i love japan.
Now this is a general truth i have to accept. Regardless of how much effort you do on your own costume. There will always be someone who will get more attention then yours. Cosplay is one of the things i consider a tradition before becoming an Otaku. When you go to an expo or convention about anime, you better prepare your self for the biggest event of your life even if you're not joining at a competition. Being judge by if not thousands then hundreds of fans to see if your costume is accurate to the you are copying. Getting sweats by people just by looking at you whether it's Perfect or Rejected. It seems that the only way to get that attention is either have a good costume or be a cute girl showing cleavage.
Do you have to catch on your favorite anime like Naruto, One Piece , Bleach and, Fairy Tail. Got to see the new animes coming out next season like IS 2 ( infinite stratos) and the likes. Feel like to finish up animes you forgot to finish like Future Diary, Accel World, Oreimo and, Clannad. Well too bad cause no matter how you try to finish all of them, At some point it's hard to catch on them because of TIME. Balancing Otaku stuff and Real world situations will totally make you go nuts. At times you may actually feel bored during the middle of all the episodes the you say to you're self " I'll watch it next time when it's all complete " or " I forgot to do my schoolwork and project. TeeHee! Better watch this next time." In truth this one of main problems that i have to deal with since I'm a graduating student in highschool. That means less anime and more work. How i wish i could stop time and watch my favorite anime.
Do i even have to explain this. Time and time and time it seems that anime have become more than just a hobby. It's already a passion and commitment of what you love. Animes certainly deliver a kind of charm that makes you feel like your a part of their universe. You feel like that is the place you belong and no one can can say that there is a better anime you would live than your own. Wrong!!! Fans always try to argue on why their anime is better than your's or why the story is dramatic and awesome and the list goes on and on and on and on. It felt like as though i'm watching a " Who would win a deathbattle? Goku or Superman " Then people would provide thousands of nonsense of why this character can beat this and that. But thats how life is. There will always be people trying to prove why their's is much more better. I guess it's not bad thing since this make the creator of that specific anime or manga improve own their works to make fans have a counter argue on why their anime is much better than the other anime's
Girls.... don't hate me for this but, I love School days. No not school days. I Mean the School Days - School Days. You know where the nice boat meme was created then people hate Makoto for being such a big ( insert Male part joke ). Yeah! that was an awesome time for me. I would have gladly review that and gave it 9/10 as the score for it's animation and music with a tragic love triangle between Kotonoha, Sekai and, Makoto. But one thing that i really feel bad is if the ending weren't done right. I mean there are animes that have such a good story then suddenly the ending felt like it was an ending they have to remake since the original ending accidentally got spilled with coffee. Animes like that are such a big letdown especially if you recommend that to a friend. I hope that anime's right now could pull off such great endings that would explain everything about the characters and how it's related to the story. And i hate CLIFFHANGERS! And endings that feel like it just became regular day randomly.
It has been a long time since i watched a dub anime. Maybe it's because it's a habit of mine watching them or there voicing is just to horrible. I mean what happened to the time where Cowboy bebop was a great dub now it's like anime voice actors don't try their best dubbing. Hell Pokemon now has a better dub than current animes that are being dub. As much as i hate dub, I realized that it's not easy to translate what the Japanese are saying cause there literal translation seems like it's broken language. So i give kudos to those Voice actors and translator who try their best give a good episode they work hard on. Just make sure to have more expression next time.
Now this is already a given. Not much explanation needed. Basically you read your favorite manga in the internet since they can't be localize in your country due to reasons that you don't give even a shit about. But people try their best to buy that manga in japan. Translate every single word they cross upon then try to make it a clean version of it in English. The down side is that you have to wait a week for one chapter. But regardless about 1 week of waiting it's totally worth the wait to find out what happened next.
How about you guys do you have the same problem that i also have? Do you think that there are more than what i just mentioned above? Why not comment below and tell your us your experience. I wished i could have added more but it's getting late and i have school tom. tune in next time for more crazy and random blogs. ARD out.
As i write this blog about Oreimo's ending i'm pretty sure by now that you know what the ending is already. Hey my fellow vicers ! ARD here to give you my thoughts on the ending of Oreimo 2 and how it affected fans by it's dramatic conclusion.
Oreimo 2 had 13 episodes that aired from April 7 to June 30, 2013. Knowing that the first season had OVA's for the true ending i knew that the 13th episode was not the end of it. Having heard that the next OVA were in August, i decided to wait for it's release. Then finally, the 3 episodes were shown during OTAKON 2013 on August 9, 2013 the having release worldwide on August 18. Me not knowing this, I was lucky to watch it when a friend of mine told me that there are 3 episode added. So i rapidly went home and watched this series come to an end. And boy was i surprised about the ending.
To tell you the truth, Regardless about all of your opinions about how it ended. I just want to say that you guys have it the wrong way. Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai is actually a masterpiece.
The show is a great example of a true love story is. With little sister's as a trend to Japanese culture to being moe, I see it in the show as symbol of destiny or fate in the show. The show itself is very ironic and also the title of the first season's opening called Irony by "ClariS". At the start of the series, Kyousuke defended Kirino's crazy obsession of eroge from people who think that it is weird for a girl to like Imouto themed eroge that will make her believe that incest is good. This in turn has made actually Kyousuke have a strong bond and closer with Kirino which was her goal from the start. Having a strong relationship. And after playing the eroge that Kirino made him play he actually wanted to do the bird's and the bee's with her.
But Kyousuke couldn't do it because in reality, it's actually disgusting and Hentai logic does not exist. Kirino and Kyousuke are just two roads that would just intersect and cannot come back to where they intersected. He gave up and turned down Ayase, Saori, Kuroneko, Kanako and, his chilhood bestfriend Manami (yes i understand that people are raging because there Ayase, Saori, Kuroneko, Kanako and, Manami X Kyousuke pairings are rejected because of him. ) just to announce to the public that he loves his little sister more than anything. But knowing how society will see it, It's nothing more than a guy's delusion of having his little sister as a lover as a True Route ending that he wants to clear that cannot happen in real life. Just having a fake wedding was just the only option they had since getting married for real is not possible for them to happen.
How did even end this way? They could have just said "let's not continue this anymore" and stop this incestous relationship right away (most likely during the start of the second season). But having much thought about it, there is no other alternative ending to end it. It's already said in the title, It's was already planned to end like that since the very beginning of the story. Even if his childhood bestfriend Manami was there too stop them, it was already to late to begin with.
Oreimo is not a Comedy, Harem and, Romance anime. It's actually falls into one theme that we never even saw coming. Romance-Tragedy. Yes! A Tragedy where all happy endings are just delusions in front of the audience eyes to see, but in reality they all getting scraped away because of the decisions of Kyousuke like Oedipus (sorta just like him).
I think there will never be an anime that could have a deep message like Oreimo and when that time comes, I hope you're prepared to make sacrifices that will make a good story for fans to understand.
For those who want to see the marriage seen between the two here's the vid below. What about you guys? Do you think that the ending was satisfying or should make another alternative true ending? leave down a comment and thanks for reading. ARD out!
Finally the awaited Episode 14 is out and its was a great ending. Although when i woke up almost all the post i saw in Facebook are all spoiler pics of the episode itself but nevertheless its was a awesome experience watching it.
Kirito showed of his smart deducting skills when he realize and revealed to all the Heathcliff is none other the creator Kayaba Akihiko. But made me intrigued was Kayaba stating that he was the final boss on the top floor then kirito added his own saying that it seems pretty bad that the most trusted and strongest player in SAO who becomes the last boss and again Kayaba answered back that its a pretty good storyline. Now that was a good word fight but true essence of the episode was actually not the fight itself but it was but what awaited at the end for us to see and cry upon.
Something has always bothered me, ever since I arrived here. "Where does he hide while he watches us and adjust the world?" But i'd forgotten a simple piece of psychology. Something any kid knows. There's nothing as boring as watching someone else play an RPG. Isn't that right, Kayaba Akihiko? - Kirito
Since Kirito revealed his identity, Kayaba gave a reward to Kirito a chance to face him one-on-one. Well since he had Immortal status the whole time he would naturally deactivate it if the player where to reach him on the top floor but just like any final boss fight, he would have maximum stats to all attributes then again he's the creator so he would naturally do that kind of thing.
After that Kirito had flashback of those who died in front of him except Yui. Yui just dissapeared but i couldn't help but shed a single tear when i saw Yui. Kirito then prepared himself for his greatest battle yet. Asuna ask him that he isn't gonna die just yet. Then Kirito said that's he going to win. Before the battles start Kirito made a request that Asuna couldn't inflict suicide if kirito would die. Think about it if you die and the girl you love so much kills herself because she couldn't protect you, wouldn't you feel guilty or devastated.
Thus the battle started but if you think the battle sequence was epic wait a few more minutes for the most by far emotional scene i have seen in a action-adventure genre.
Asuna's death was a total emotional crying scene the whole time. Until now just looking at this scene makes me cry for 5 minutes. So for those who also cried, Big thumbs up and accept it that this scene made you cry. After seeing Asuna fade into pieces of scattered light, Kirito loss all sense of hope and just attacked kayaba like a lifeless soul. kayaba deflected the sword but kirito picked up the sword of asuna. He got stab by kayaba's sword but kirito did not lose hope. He doesn't want Asuna's death to be in vain so with all his might before he fades away he stab him depleting kayaba's life. With that he ask himself if it was good enough while looking at Asuna's sword and eventually he faded to scattered to pieces of light floating above aincrad while all his friends that he met on his journey looked at the sky.
You know, Kirito-kun, I still believe that in some other world, that castle truly exist. - Kayaba Akihiko
He explains everything how it all started. He dreams of a castle that can surpass all the law of the world yet he also says that someone already surpass even the laws of Sword Art Online. He must be referring to Kirito and Asuna's actions that even the game itself can't handle such as Yui and Kirito's strong will to kill Kayaba. He congratulates both Kirito and Asuna for clearing the game but before that he initiated a phase that will delete all of SAO's programs including the game itself.
They both sit as they watched Aincrad fall into pieces and realize that they will disappear. Asuna explains to kirito that its not goodbye and they will disappear together as one. But before that Asuna wants to know Kirito's real name and told hers as well. They exchange there "I Love You" to each other. As they hug a huge light came into contact to them fading them to oblivion ending once and for all there 2 year journey in Sword Art Online.
He wakes up in a hospital and looks at his hand. He tries to remove his helmet then remembered a girl that he met in Sword art Online. The scene was suppose to show that he forgot the name of girl but suddenly remembered that it was Asuna just like the light novel. He tries to get up, removes the nerve gear and walks out of the room uttering his last final words "Asuna..." then the scene shifts to him walking to a corridor going to the light. the credits roll and its over
So what happens now for those who though its over and just close before or after the credits? Well you guys just miss the most greatest thing that happened
Kirito voice can be heard and says the next episode " Jikai: Ritān " I Got super excited that its not over yet and the next arc will be set.
So the next arc is set in "Fairy Dance" Arc and Kirito will have to play again another VRMMORPG which is ALfheim Online. Get ready for next Sunday (That's my country day that a Sword Art online Episode is release) So for those who doesn't know about this, tell your friends that Sword Art Online is not over and get hype for the next episode arc.
For those who want to know the New Character i'll tell only one so for those who don't want to be spoiled just skip this.
Thats Right! Kirigaya Suguha the sister of Kirito will appearing for the first time in episode 15. Actually she was first shown in Episode 1 but her face wasn't that clear enough to be seen so it was more of a cameo
Well thats all what i have to say. Thanks for having the time to read this blog and get ready for Fairy Dance
