I don't suppose you remember us talking about whether Sasuke should have or shouldn't have left the village, where I said that "while it would have been cliche, it would have still been better", bringing up M Night Shaymalan to point out that twists aren't indicative of good writing. That was then pretty much exactly what you said in your "hopping around in bunny suits" quote.
that being that a twist (him leaving the village) is not a good idea just because it's unique, and that a more "cliche" approach would have likely served the series better.
@AgentJ said:I suppose that was the thread :PActually that is the thread I was referring to if you scroll down you can even see the comment you used concerning your concession.
Here's the thread:
http://www.animevice.com/forums/general-discussion/1/how-do-you-feel-about-sasuke-uchihas-development/326613/Have you ever participated in a debate? Have you ever watched one on television? Inevitably someone is going to have the last word, or the debate would go on forever.Yes,yes, yes, however what happened was that we were debating and you decided to instead countering my point say that you were giving me the last word basically giving up. A debate needs two parties. One to defend the affirmation ,one to oppose the affirmation if one side doesn't fulfill it's objective it loses especially when your telling the other party so blatantly "that you are letting them have the last" basically giving up on fulfilling the said objective.
@AgentJ said:Have you ever participated in a debate? Have you ever watched one on television? Inevitably someone is going to have the last word, or the debate would go on forever. We unfortunately lack a moderator to tell us when to end. Besides, both of us know you wouldn't be willing to stop regardless of whether or not you were right.@MrASSH0LE: I realized that my desire for "discussion" was not being reciprocated, and so I stopped trying. If you want to take that as "concession", then more power to you,Ye i replied to your post in this thread I actually remember you being the person saying you weren't to argue and saying that you were using a cope-out.
Plus how is that not a concession to say your letting me have the last word. It's basically giving up.
@AgentJ said:AGAIN though, you were referring to the wrong topic. Do you understand which one I was talking about now?Show it to me I only remeber us arguing about Sasuke one time.
And not just those four. Everyone at the school has one connecting bond.
@MrASSH0LE:be answered at a certain point when watching AB I thought the anime like most other anime with teenage protagonists would not explain why it's protagonist are teenagers
The show give you clues Iwasawa, Naoi, Hinata and Yuri. They all have something in common
@AgentJ said:Really buddy, just watch the rest of the series. You're already half-way there. As for an episode of baseball, well clearly the idea of the previous episode was lost.Nope, the whole baseball game was Yuripee's idea for some random reason it was still silly.
@AgentJ said:The sad part is that nearly every question of his is answered by the end of the runWell that is kind of beside the point know isn't it.If I told you there was this movie and during over 70% of this movie people where jumping around in bunny suits yelling and then somebody complained saying "Why in the hell is this happening?" and you replied that it is explained later it would still be a silly movie especially in anime where all the characters being teenage High Schoolers is not something that is explained or even acknowledged most of the time.
The sad part is that nearly every question of his is answered by the end of the run... As for an episode of baseball, well clearly the idea of the previous episode was lost.
You are at episode 6, it a 13 episodes anime
Really watch it all the way through before judging
Indeed, even in jest, there's just some things you don't say.
@Killroycantkill:But the difference there is like... both those movies suck....
Did you just say that Citizen Kane suck? I think we need to step outside
@hitsusatsu11: Truer words have never been spoken. A great and wise hipster once told me a proverb that has stayed with me my entire life. I will share it with you:The risky thing about this quote is that it assumes people enjoys what others like BECAUSE others like it, and that those who enjoy what others haven't or hate do so out of true love. But that ignores those who genuinely like a good product the same as everyone else, as well as those who only like certain things BECAUSE no one else likes them (AKA hipsters). Hipsters are as low as it goes as far as I'm concerned. Only liking something unpopular because it's unpopular is disgusting. There are great things that aren't popular (such as my shining treasure BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad), but they'd still be great even if they WERE popular.
He who enjoys what others like is a fool. He who enjoys what others haven't heard of or hate is wise beyond his years. Understand this and the world shall be in your palm.
Oh, is that right? Then why would Travis be on this list, I wonder? That sure is ever so peculiar. Are you sure there isn't a No More Heroes Anime? Because if he's on the list, then there must be.
@AgentJ:I haven't seen the No More Heroes anime yet. Is it good?
There no such thing, only the video games
